You name a series (game, book, movie, etc with multiple sequels or releases), the next guy has to name what they think was the best one in the series. Only the original poster can debate their claim. Everyone can post their favorite. I'll start: Resident Evil.

Lilo and Stitch the original movie is the best, though leroy and stitch had its moments.

NCIS tv series: the original because Los Angeles is crap.

If I also have to name the next thing I will go with X-Men films.
 
The best in the series of X-Men had to be the second one cause Last Stand was all over the place. The first had its moments but they weren't as good as the second one.

Next up, Devil May Cry.

OP reply, I think Remake was the best. While 4 was a great game, it was too different from the original trilogy for me to consider it true Resident Evil. 2 was great but more of the same, and 1 started it all, and Remake perfected 1.

I have to agree, slight edge over the SNES. N64 would've owned both if it had a cd drive/bulky drive at launch.

I'll have to pass this question to the next person as I was not into the battle themes of enough games enough to properly answer.
