Best PC FPS Ever.

Marathon wasn't PC, though. Maybe the last two, much later, but it was always primarily Mac. Right?

For me, I call System Shock 2, then Thief 2, then Deus Ex, then Half-Life. Tribes is probably one of the greatest multiplayer games ever, and Doom deserves props for the sheer number of hours I spent playing it over a LAN in high school. Ahh, those were the days...
 
Call of Duty gets my vote. Especially with the new expansion. The Halflife engine would be second with all those sweet mods like day of defeat.

Marathon 1 and Marathon Infinity were Mac Only, Marathon 2 was PC/Mac on day one if I'm not mistaken, maybe a month gap.
But you can get all 3 now for the PC thanks to Bungie, they made Marathon OpenSource befor MS bought them

It may be out dated but it is still the best game even today!
