What software? You don't need to download anything to use the site, and I haven't been getting any offers for free porn toolbars / clocks / screensavers thanks to Firefox...

Yes. Suprnova has no software offered on its site specifically; you do indeed need a BT client (such as Azareus, Shareaza, BitTornado, etc.), but it's not found at Suprnova.

Suprnova supplies the torrents, and the files are downloaded through the client.

supernova.org and suprnova.org are different. The first one is a fake site that requires you to download a program called supernova. Which will eventually screw up your computer.

can the RIAA track you using bittorrent?
If they collected the IPs gathered for the upload, then yes I would think they could.
i've gotten an email from comcast to stop downloading movies, but nothing really happened after that so i just use peerguardian or protowall in case.
I too use peerguardian, and the funny thing is, it blocks this site!! I have to turn it off in order to come here.
