Sinnbox

CAGiversary!
If you are lookign for Cheap used HD-DVD's check your local Pawnshops. The Shops around my area got flooded with tehm right after the announcement that they are obsolete, the workers that know they are obsolete want to get them out the door, I piced up Shrek the third, the Kingdom, and the new angelina Jole movie this week for $3.33 apiece!! I'm going back later to see what i missed at the other local pawnshops.

There does that win?

My local Hobo had some HD-DVD's on sale, they were still kind of overpriced so i offered him some booze and he said there was no way.

ROFL! Thanks Bezerker, that woke me up! Almost spit coffee on my keyboard :)

Went to all 4 pawn shops in my area, not a single one had any HD-DVDs or Blu-Ray movies. Wow. Most of them looked at me like I was an idiot asking about HD-DVDs

Guys, if you go dumpster diving, you might find an HD DVD that some one threw out because they didn't want to bother with selling it.

Go dig it out and sell it to a CAGer. (Some of them still think HDDVD is alive...)

Hey all,

I heard that they are going to announce soon that they're going to stop making HD-DVDs, so it might be a good idea to keep an eye on Amazon and Deepdiscount.com and Best Buy's prices on discs and players. I bet they're totally gonna drop the prices.

And check pawn shops. If not for HD-DVDs, then for guns. And necklaces. They totally always have necklaces.

Good luck and don't tell anybody. It'll be a CAG secret.

Well I do see HD DVDs that were given out free with players but pawns always want $15 for them. I also have seen some blu-rays at this one pawn but they wanted $20 each for them, used. Best deal they had was the Spider-Man Trilogy for $40 :( I would have bought the SMT for $30 too...

A couple weeks ago I did buy 4 blu-rays off a craigs list ad for $45. I got The Host, Weeds Season 2, Volver, and The Lives of Others....those are all $20 blu-rays except The host, which is worth about $15.
