Best price on Logitech MX510?

It was cheaper on Amazon for a while, I got it for $30 about a month ago but now its back around $40. It's definitely worth it for the newegg price, you won't ever want to use any other mouse again. The buttons on the side make scrolling through pages so much easier. It's supposedly a great gaming mouse too, but I don't play too many PC games.

I love my MX510, it's an excellent mouse and it looks cool. Shiny red...

I originally had the MX500, which was superb, the button layout is the best. When I got the MX510, I thought the place that I bought it from just sent me a shell, because the MX510 weighs about one-quarter of what the MX500 does. The MX510 is so light, that it's unbelievable at first, you really need to get used to it.

I would buy the blue one from NewEgg.com, they have the cheapest price even with tax (I live in NJ and they charge me tax). They have free FedEx ground shipping for it. NewEgg.com does have the red one for $0.01 more than the blue one, but they charge $5 for shipping it.

I use the MX900 RF model, which Newegg doesn't seem to sell by itself anymore. The mouse has a great design - the same as the MX500/510. This model happens to be heavy as a brick, thanks to the batteries. I can usually get the two side buttons and the center click working in games, but never anything from the center and scroll buttons.

Hey, if you want the ultimate in accuracy and don't mind paying out the ass for it, there's always the MX1000.

I just got my rebate back from Logitech in the mail today...I ordered it on Amazon in November and ended up getting it for $23 shipped.

The newegg price is good enough...The Mx510 is totally worth it.

I also highly recomend spriniging for the MX1000...awesome when combined with the saitek gamers keyboard for pc gaming.

Newegg has the best prices on both.

Amazon usually has this on sale with a rebate bringing it down to about 25-30 bux every other month or so.

Just keep an eye out and you'll catch it.

Thanks, gamefreak117. It looks like Newegg increased the price though and shipping doesn't seem to be free now either. Why would they do that? Anyway, I still think I'll get the MX510 over the MX1000. I don't want a wireless mouse.

Are there any mousepads that you guys recommend? I've been using the same cloth pad with a T-Rex on it for about 13 years. I'd like a new mousepad but most of the gaming pads seem to be made out of hard plastic which I don't like. I want it to be comfortable to use. I was thinking of getting one of the cloth pads shown here. http://www.xtracpads.com/products.htm The HYBRID looks interesting.

The MX510 is indeed a fine mouse. I use the MX1000 myself, and it's awesome, despite the weight. The best thing has to be the accuracy and the fact that it has no lag.

Awww I got my blue one for $42 shipped from NewEgg over the summer... I thought that was pretty good.

Oh and I use the fUnc sUrface 1030 Competition Mousing Surface. Great combination.
