Best retailer for going next-gen?

Hi everyone, long-time reader / relatively recent registrant / first-time poster here. I've decided to start asking paople for gift cards for my bday and holidays from now on so that I can go next-gen without worrying about spending a lot out of pocket when the time comes. I'm not doing it right at launch, but I want to start saving now. So, what retailer do you all recommend for this? What's the best store for buying a new console? Historically, I've gone with Best Buy but I'm not sure this time. I'd prefer not to have to worry about shipping, otherwise I'd go with Newegg. I'd love to hear your experiences and advice. Thanks!

It's too early to tell, but I would suggest Amazon or Newegg if they don't charge tax in your area.

Just wait and see I guess? As for me I am going with best buy only because I have lots of gift cards from them and also reward zone points.

I'm in MA, so I'l probably go to a brick and mortar store on a trip up to NH someday. I realize it is a long way off, so it might be silly for me to start planning now, haha.

I had Reward Zone a long time ago but had to give it up when I started working at Best Buy. I no longer work there so I could get it again, but it's changed a lot and I have no idea how it works these days.
