Best Sites to Find Value of Old Games

DaftPunkFan37

CAGiversary!
I got some old SNES games from a yard sale, and I really have no idea what they're worth. I've looked at a few sources (Ebay, Amazon), but the prices vary and some don't list the condition of the games I have. Is there any sites that list the value of games and how much they're worth depending on what's included with them (Box, Manual, Poster, etc)?

Ebays your best bet. Someone did post a search algorithm on the forums a few days ago that could help you out. Showed recent listings on ebay I believe. But judging by your pic on the yard sales thread they looked to be in good shape. The resale market on SNES games is also fairly dependent on the buyer. Some look for cartridge only, some cartridge and manual, others complete in box, and the most insane look for Factory Sealed. I looked at your post and if you sell them on ebay individually you should make some money. I mean even if you keep the SNES to play Earthbound, then selling the games you don't want, you can recoup your initial $15 investment. Hope that helps a little.

I had some auctions under Watch under My Ebay to look at how they go that were selling basically what I have. I wanted to make sure there wasn't another reliable source to check. Thank you for the suggestions Tribblewars and Chodax!

Daft, go to ebay.com click on advanced search, and click the "completed listings" checkbox. Then type in the game you want, and you will get all of the recent prices for that game.

Then from there you can find one that meets the condition of your game.

Btw, it sucks that you didn't think about this earlier, as the chrono trigger game you sold to your "friend" is worth about $110+

[quote name='Maromi']Even better than looking at completed listings, if you want a more in-depth analysis:

Added to favourites, thanks man, i've been looking for something like this, for a long time.

I'd still rather use ebay completed because you can compare the condition of your game, and get recent results, but this site is great for looking back on value of the game, and wether re-releases or ports made an impact on the value.
