Best Store to Give Trade Value

Hi - this is the first time I am thinking of trading games at a store for another or get credit.

I have the following games around the house, all in excellent conditions:

1. Halo 3
2. Bioshock (Xbox 360)
3. NCAA 08 (Xbox 360)
4. Lord of the Rings Middle Earth (Xbox 360)

How does the credit process work? I think I saw a coupon on gamestop.com saying they will give you an extra 30% or so for four or more games. So is that 30% of the trade in value?

Where can I maximize my return on these games?

I am thinking of getting COD5 for Xbox 360 or Little Big Planet PS3.

Any input would be appreciated.

I think I have a gamespot and gamevalue near where I live. I live in Central Florida, near UCF.

Thanks!

Your best bet is to shop around and do your research, since the values vary for each store/chain.

If you have a Hollywood Video that converted part of their store into a "Gamezone" they have told me they'll price match trade-in values from some stores(without any promos applied though).

The best chain that may take games(depending on if it's a franchise or a corporate store) is Blockbuster.

The following three chains take trades though:

Hollywood Video(with Gamezones in them)/Gamecrazy
Blockbuster
Gamestop

Or you could try for a local mom and pop shop, though the closest one to me here was going to give me nothing for most of my games, so I took them to Blockbuster instead.

Yea their going rate for Battlefield BC is $47 trade it way better then GS, $18 and better then Hastings $30.

Blockbuster if you want to do it at a brick and mortar shop. The most they give is $36 and will take it with no problems even if you don't have the case.

They won't take stuff without even a case at my local Blockbuster and they were too fuckin' lazy to even try to look up the UPC for the Hollywood Video games without the UPC on the back of the case the other night.

So, acceptance without cases/UPC's is highly YMMV around here.

I think Gamestop might be better if I am trading in like 5 games.

1. Halo 3 -- $18 from gamestop
2. Bioshock -- $8 from gamestop
3. NCAA 08
4. LOTR Battle for Middle Earth 2 -- $7 from gamestop
5. COD4 -- $21 from gamestop

I mean I think I end up with $70 with gamestop when I called and if I use a coupon towards another game.

Basically, I end up getting one game for 5 games - ugh.

Estarland is a bit less from what I saw.

Dont trade in unless a promo is going on, like at gamestop/EB right now. If you have an edge card you can stack another extra 10%. (speaking of which, I need another 2$ card)
