Best Use of $100 Gamestop Giftcard

I'm going to Gamestop tomorrow and I was wondering if anyone had any friendly input or advice.

I have $100 worth of gift cards and a few leads. I'm interested in Halo:ODST, Darksiders, Batman: Arkham Asylum, and Mass Effect 2 when it comes out later this month. Or anything else you think is worth purchasing!

If you think it's worth it just to save them for later, then so be it.

Thanks in advance

I would say wait for a buy 2 get 1 free used sale and combine that with an edge card for some halfway decent deals. Anything else and you're getting ripped off.

last b2g1 free was a little more than a month ago. And the one before that was weeks before the last one.

If it was me, Batman and Mass Effect 2, without a question. I loved Arkham Asylum and the first Mass Effect but it depends on your taste. Just look at some gameplay videos on some gaming websites and see what catches your eye.

only game worth buying would be mass effect 2 but you can just rent it and beat it within a few days so only buy it if you'd play it to complete a few times. other than that, buy accessories you might need like rechargeable battery packs, microsoft points. not much to buy and even with the buy 2 get 1 free there aren't alot of choices unless you're playing catch up or you're trying to get a backlog going.

Get a PS3. Clearly if you're thinking about getting that crappy Halo game you need to be shown the right direction.

As for the B2G1, it seems the recent string of coupons was intended to rebuild their stock, or try to. Maybe soon but you never know.

Yes fanboy, because his $100 dollar gift card would totally cover a PS3.

My vote would go for Borderlands and Arkham Asylum. Maybe get a couple dirt cheap older games. I enjoyed Mirrors Edge. I would say check out that if you want a spin on the first person genre. (if you can get a cheap copy of it that is. It doesnt hold much replay value)

Fanperson, no. I have over 30 consoles. If you had read he did say 'save it', which was implied with my post, or so I thought.
