Best way to reach GS support?

Feel like I'm bringing up GS a lot lately but...

Why is it so hard to get a response from GS online support/call support? They used to be great about responding to issues but over the past few years, it's sucks. 

Emails take over a week for a response (even though automated message says it takes 24-48 hours) whether I email them directly or through the app, and I'm currently on hold calling their CS for 45 minutes. In fact, the last few times I've called, I ended up hanging up after near hr long waits. 

I'd love to walk into a store but like to avoid that as much as possible.

1 hour and 5 minutes, that's how long it took for someone to finally respond. 

EDIT* I'm not sure what I expected, but their CS was unbelievably useless.

I've learned from experience that emailing can take weeks or even months to resolve anything. Just call else wise email wait months and hope that they can do something or better yet ask in store.

 
This happened to me one time. I was put on hold for like 45 minutes. Rarely ever used that line again. Don't call up their shit customer service line. If you have a legitimate issue, call up their Texas HQ number. The number escapes me at the moment, though.

 
I once had an issue with a damaged order, total inc shipping was like $10-14 or something. Gamestop was of no use via phone or email, so I opened a paypal claim, of course GS never replied.

Paypal told me to mail the items back and when I provide proof I'll get a refund. I said the cost of mailing the items back would be $6-10 at least due to the size and weight of the item.

Paypal gave me a refund due to that and ever since then I can't order PSN cards from gamestop.com, orders get cancelled. I ordered some DI items and they shipped a few months ago, but no idea if I can order physical items now.

Honestly no real loss, GS sucks overall.
