BestBuy 2 Select Bluray Movies for $30

Terrible terrible deal. Not blaming you OP, but BB is easily the worst BD retailer I've seen yet...

And yet they were/are clearly one of the biggest Blu-Ray pimps in the retail world*, and as a result, probably a pretty decent-sized factor in determining the eventual and inevitable outcome of this "war".

The Best Buy I frequent has the Blu-Ray titles on the 'outer' side of the first rack of the Movie section, next to the new releases. The HD DVDs are on the other side, which means that you actively have to look for them. Anyone else have similar or even more BD-favorable layouts in their store of choice?

*--I would love to have heard how the "blue shirts" were programmed to talk Joe Customer out of an HD DVD purchase over the last year or so. Sure, it's pretty much academic now, but the picture, if you will, was less 'in focus' a year ago.

Yea, not the best deal, but it's better than some.

And FYE is the first place that comes to mind with overpriced BDs. Almost nothing was below $30, most ranged between $35-$40. Even their used prices suck (in fact, everything they have used can EASILY be found new for less, especially the $30 or $40 price of All-Pro Football, which most retailers can't even get rid of for $10).
No doubt it's not a good deal but for some folks with BB giftcards it might be worth it, hence the post.
I hate you for posting this shitty deal!

Everyone was being too nice. Thanks for posting, but I really don't need to get Terminator on Blu-ray. I will keep my older movies on standard DVD.

If they had every Blu-ray for this promotion, it'd be a damn good deal, even at Amazon's clearance prices.
