shit man, BB won't even allow the $15 gamer coupon on their own sale of PoP. THey're not gonna pricematch GS and let you use a coupon.

People, stop dreaming of PM+Coupon at BB. I know BB's policy is to pricematch and even that's YMMV. PM+Coupon is like finding a Fallout 3 GOTY penny guide at BB.

This is YMMV. I've tried pricematching at BB multiple times at multiple stores and never works since Gamestop doesn't have "sealed" copies. BB employees will literally go into an office and call around to different GS in the areas just to find one with a sealed copy.

If I bought Batman today for $20 at GS, took the receipt to BB and showed them the $20 price, is that as good as bringing in an advertisement for pricematch? The purpose being I could get a non gutted copy from BB and return the gutted one back to GS.

The receipt doesn't indicate whether the game is used or new.

Arg, so it doesn't...
My local BB in pleasant hill, ca said they don't price match gamestop... =/
Well, they're wrong. They can check gamestop's website right there in store and call them. If one best buy does it, they all do it. They've all got the same rules.

Except it's fruitless to argue with them. They don't even follow their own rules with pricematching so you'll just waste an hour yelling at the manager and in the end, get nothing for your trouble. Yeah, you might complain to corporate and get a $20 GC for your trouble but is it seriously worth the wasted time and dignity? Easier to just move onto another BB or just wait for the game to drop further. Amazon will match it any second now.

I don't understand people who waste so much time and angst on pricematching when it'll drop to the same price somewhere else very soon.

Thanks OP. Snagged Demon's Souls and 3D Dot for $29 apiece. I'd already snagged most of the other good Power Saver deals, but these were just calling out to me. Passed up on GOW3 ($30) but then I find it's on the monthly Gamefly sale-- it's funny how these deals are lining up. Anyway, it was actually pretty painless. Just had customer service look it up and boom, done in a flash. Cheers!

thanks alot picked up some games from BB that I price matched from GS

they didn't even ask for ad...just called them up and manager override it.

I actually just found the Fallout 3 GOTY hardcover collectors edition guide on Sunday at my Best Buy while I was picking up FF XIII. It is funny that you mentioned that, haha.

Struck out on price matching Lego Indy 2 and BioShock 2. Customer service rep called the GameStop right in the parking lot and they said their prices where not what the website quoted

Is Batman listed anywhere online? Neither of the gamestops near me have any, and its the one game I want to buy in this sale, yet also the only one I can't find anything to print for.
Of course they match GS sales. I have gone and gotten matches on Gamer Days and every other sale GS has done in the past year. The only thing they might not match is a sale that is on-line only and where it clearly says that on the item page on Gamestop's website.
My best buy doesnt match gamestop at all, They dont consider it a local competitor, despite one being 2 miles away.

Crap like that is why I tend to hate BB...well at least my local one. :bomb:
