Bestbuy TIV on Orig PS3 and XB360 Elite

Hi all,

Long time lurker first time poster.

Am interested in getting onto the current gen and see that Microsoft are offering up to $100 for old consoles. I've called and confirmed that I can get $100 for the original 80GB PS3 or the Xbox  360 Elite.

Anyone had any recent experience trading either of these into Bestbuy? I know i missed out on a sweet deal today but keeping my eyes out for anything else around Black Friday hopefully.

 
I believe that Best Buy is offering 150 bucks in TIV through the 14th for a 360 or PS3 with at least a 250 gig hard drive.

Also 10 bucks for any controllers you trade in too.

I've never traded in anything myself, but since the XB 1 bundles are 350, minus another 150 and that's a good deal (200 plus tax).

Edit: if it's not Best Buy then it's Target. Either way it's a heck of a deal.

Ended up trading my 360 elite at MS just before MCC came out and have been enjoying that since.

Now what to do with my 80GB barn sized/weighted PS3. It been gathering dust for a couple of years, i really should have gotten rid of it a while ago
