Beta Testers Wanted for GameTap

Word on the street is that they working on online play. Don't know about the Mac support.
 
I got mine as well. Now I just need to find the reciever for my wireless Logitech controller that I haven't used in over 2 years.....

i got in today.

but what the crap, why do you guys get all the cool names. Blue Streak, Green Goop, Pink Panther.

i got PURPLE.....just plain ol' purple. I asked if i could be pink but the gametap said really loudly "THERE'S ANOTHER GUY ON ANOTHER JOB NAMED MR. PINK, YOU'RE MR. PURPLE!!".

Yes, but those other colors will be envious for they cannot play Purple Reign over and over and over as they test!
 
I just got in too! Haven't gotten anything saying what team I'll be on though! I hope this is fun!

gee golly, the vikings winning the superbowl, i would have been happy if they had at least not screwed up their draft picks....again....passing up a USC all star receiver, eesh.
 
hmm.. i was told i'd get my official "you've been accepted" email a few days ago but it hasn't arrived yet. i've even filled out that little questionaire, so now i'm wondering if i'm in it or not. has naything like this happened to anyone?
 
i got all the information this afternoon and am going through all the crap to install it now.

all those annoying instructions and passcodes, i hope i can not have to remember anything cept the one i picked from now on.
 
I am up and playing, anyone else. (I know we can't discuss anything, just seeing who else is all logged on now)

No answer, all I got was a confirmation E-mail after submitting my application.
 
I just found out Purple is not just Purple but "Purple Pirate" oooo I can sleep easy tonight now. I also see there are Orange Oarspersons.

and where did you find out the extra name? i'm already in the program and i havent seen any more mention of the team name at all (or why we have them).

the only time i saw it was when it simply said purple, none of he other emails have mentioned any further team name.

and yeah, it does appear to be up and running.

WTF no love for the Mac. fuck them I will get on my pc and sign up right away that stuff I said early did not mean it. Seriously I really really really like them.

I receieved an email last week saying it was going to start 'next week' Monday evening I received the email with loggin stuff.

Oh, lol... that's what I get for not checking the date on the topic here... Looks like I just signed up a month too late.
 
for thoe still waiting i did have a thought.

one thing i noticed is that pretty much the only people i see on the testing forums are purple pink and orange teams (i did just see one red dude though).

it could be that some of the other teams havent gotten inaugurated yet, like the green (although cheapy was on that team *gasp* i dont think they'd make him wait), brown n stuff.

interesting i think purple and maybe orange were the first teams in, either that or i could be on a forum just for certain colors, which is why i see so many of purple, my own team, but since there were other colors as well i dont think that is so.

Yes, it seems that this test 'rolls out' so don't be surprised if there are more testers accepted. When I signed up said this is for a 15 day free trial. Not sure if that is a test, or if every 15 days a new team rolls on in.
