Beta Testing

Is it true that you must be 18 or older to be able to test games even if you registered a Network Adapter and PSU?

I doubt it. You probably have to be at least 17, though, for M rated games.

Because they don't want to code more HTML and a script to detect people's ages and correspond the page with their age.

Thats funny cause im 16 and I got to beta test Final Fantasy XI last year. I really wanted to beta test Killzone

I could've beta tested killzone, but I didn't check my email til the next day, oh boy was I pissed. I wanted to see what all the hype was about for the supposed "Halo Killer"

Did you test the PC version? Square Enix might not care about your age, but Sony might.

shit im not active on sony boards so i never get a beta to test. I wish i wasnt so true to gfaqs.com or i would switch over.

It just simplifies things to limit your group to those who can make contracts without another party's involvement.
