Beyond Good & Evil $9.99 Used @ EB

It's only $4.98 brand new at TRU. Maybe you should return the EB copy now that they have in-store pick-up & returns.

I bought a copy of the PS2 version for a friend a few days ago... It took me several month to find but I finally got the Xbox version of BG&E during EB's B2G1F deal.

This game is just incredible. One of my favorites this gen that is slightly obscure/didn't do too well in the mainstream. BG&E, XIII, and PoP are the three Ubisoft games that came right around one another a couple years ago which are some of my favorite games this gen. I'm happy that PoP at least got a sequel and did well but the other two just sadden me. Especially XIII which just had an incredible story with such a cliffhanger ending.

I love BGaE also. I've got the ps2 version, but I'm thinking of buying the xbox version for when I finally get an xbox. The ps2 version has some minor frame rate issues, and $10 for a new xbox copy that probably runs better is worth it for the next time I run through the game.

Slightly off topic: anyone like the music from the game? I did a sweet remix of some of the music in the game.
I too liked the story in XII, but unfortunately the mediocre gameplay almost turned me away.
I thought the gameplay was excellent, althougth the controls were a little wonky and the multiplayer could have been done a little better. Still an 8 out of 10 in my book.

I actually believe that it was either at gamespot or ign (or both?) in the review, stated that the GC had the best version because of a strange problem with the Xbox (flicker or something), though the graphics were better on Xbox. That's why the GC version still sells for $30 new if you can find it. Whether that is true, or that maybe I am mixing this one up with Metal Arms GC versus Xbox, one thing is for certain: GC has the best controller to play action/adventure games with!

Actually the Xbox version is still better because the gamecube controller cant click in the right stick, which means it is missing an important button.

I purchased this, but oddly enough they sent me a new, shrink-wrapped copy of the game with a "used" sticker on it. Great game for a great price.

Note that it says "INCLUDES INSTRUCTIONS AND ORIGINAL PACKAGING." This game might be worth something someday since it sold so poorly despite the high reviews.
Might have been nice to know WHICH VERSION this was in the thread title. The GC version is hard to find. The PS2 version I have seen all over the place in B&M's. :(

if any version will become rare, it's definitely the GC version.

Amazing game...the word from Ubisoft is that the trilogy will be finished in the next generation.

If you haven't beat it yet, make sure you watch through the credits! XD
