Yes its another one of these topics, but Im really torn between these two LCD's and they both look good. Does anyone here have personal experience with them? I have heard good and bad about both. I have been looking all day and even went in to see what they look like and the Westinghouse seems better. And before you say it, I have already looked at the AVS forums, just looking for personal experience with these brands.

Update: I just bought the westy and I played the wii on it and it looks pretty bad. I think I will just take it back it get something small and simple. Can anyone suggest a LCD that is 480p friendly since i wont have any of the next gen systems any time soon.

I picked up the Olevia 32in 532H LCD at Micro Center and it is a steal. I heard about the 480i/p issues too and I really don't see what the problem is? I have basic cable and it looks just like regular tv to me. HD looks amazing though :D

I have my 360/Computer/Cable hooked up to it.
Okay. I'm getting ready to hook up run the Cable cords into the room that the TV is going in (didn't previously have cable there). So as soon as I do that I'll figure that out. I'm guessing I will just need to call Comcast to get the box.
u can just go to their store and pick one up it will be a lot quicker

I couldn't find the 232V Olevia from CC or the 3213 Westy from BB. My next option was the 32" Sceptre Komodo from Costo.com for $599 w/shipping, though I found enough bad reviews and bad customer support stories to steer me from that.

Next option after that was the 237V from Newegg.com for $699 + shipping (no tax), and after doing some reading on AVSForum.com, someone posted that J&R.com had the 537H for $699 + shipping (no tax). After doing some reading on the Olevia site, I found that the 2-series and 3-series have instant-exchange warranties and the 5-series has an on-site warranty. Pretty much sealed the deal for me, especially when I saw that Syntax actually sells extended warranties for their TV's.

The main features that sold me on the 537H:
1) On-site warranty.
2) 3 component inputs.
3) Optical out on the back.
4) MTI MDDK chipset instead of the ATI Xilleon chipset.
5) PIP-capable.
6) Comes with a universal remote.

For those that bought the 232V, here's how the 537H compares:

I ended up seeing it retail at American for $1299 retail  and the picture rocks. Best BF thing I've scored in a while.

Do you have to pay for it? And same with the cables.

i have comcast, and they gave me a bag full of different cables to use, if I wanted hdmi cable though I would have to upgraded to the DVR cable box

I got the 332H LCD HD-Ready TV for $500 at Compusa. I bought a series 1 a few years back and loved it and I defiantly enjoy using my new unit for PS3/XB360/Wii/and a computer screen. Did you get yours yet?

It hasn't shipped yet, though I'm expecting it to ship on Monday.
