Big Brother 8 - Who's in?

Damnit, why did they censor that fight between Dick and Jen? Did anyone else see the small monitors in the production room showing punches being thrown. That would have been the highlight of the season, gahhh.

I saw that too...
wow, this fight is intersting...Dick keeps telling Jen that she's being backdoored, Jen appearently tried to destroy Dick's cigarettes and he's pissed, he blew smoke on her face and she tried to take his cigarette away from him, he threatened to burn her with it, he then kept cussing at her and telling her that she's gone, she's supposed to be on slop and she's eating cottage cheese and an apple.

I don't understand why she doesn't walk away or why anyone else doesn't try to stop the fight...really interesting turnout...wonder if Dick or Jen, or both will get forced out by production.

Yeah, that was kinda annoying how they zoomed to the large walls of screens...I got real close to my TV and saw some of what was going on but it was still hard to see and it sucked that we couldn't hear.

Come on, we all know Dick gets a free pass. Dumping the tea over her head got no penalty. He would have been kicked out a long time ago if Big Brother had any decency. I'm wondering if the stunt with Jen wrecking Dick's cigarettes and then eating real food despite being on slop is coaching from the Diary Room, with the ultimate goal for the producers to get rid of Jameka (since she's worth shit when it comes to entertainment value) when the houseguests decide it'll be easier to dump Jameka now and backdoor Jen later since she can't play POV. Jen is more valuable to CBS than Jameka and it's been proven time and time again that the producers are rigging this season.

The problem is I think the ratings are unusually high. And Big Brother wants to keep Dick in to keep the ratings up. I hope there's a coup d'etat again and Eric and Dick go up. Dick would be gone in a split second with only that rotten little bitch of a daughter voting to keep him in.

I remember it differently, Justin and Krista were drunk and fucking around and Justin put the knife up to her throat in a weird (wanna be sexy? ) way. kinda like Lindsey Hohan awhile back with that other chick. Youre pretty much right. He had done something before along those lines about, in his eyes, jokingly saying he was gonna hurt or kill someone and got warned about it. Thats when the knife in the kitchen incident went down and they immediately got rid of him.

When she got her penalty nomination for next week she was pissed because she said that Big Brother told her it was ok to destroy his cigarettes in the diary room. So it looks like Jameka might get booted since Jen automatically goes up next week with 2 other people and she can't be saved by POV.

If that's the case than it does seem like the production team are stepping up to ensure
Jameka leaves this week and give Jen another week for a ratings boost. It sucks how Dick can hide her clothes and Jen isn't allowed to do anything to retaliate.

Yeah Dick gets away with too much stuff.
I don't see how Dick throwing Dustin's stuff on the roof and over the wall is ok, but Jen destroying his cigarettes results in a penalty nomination. I am also surprised he never got in trouble for the tea incident. The fact that diary sessions aren't included in the live feeds and that its against the rules for the contestants to discuss their diary sessions is highly suspicious to me. I wonder what the producers are telling them.
 
How many cigarettes did they let Dick bring in? In past seasons someone would be going cold turkey by now (they did give someone a nicotine patch after they ran out). Dick's supply seems endless.

From what my friend watching he feeds told me, Jen destroyed all of Dick's cartons, but while she was in DR, the producers put 3 new cartons in the Storage Room. That's why Jen was saying it wasn't fair that he can do wahtever he wants to them, but she gets punished for it. I bet even if they could get Dani & Dick on the block with Jen next week, the rest of the weasels would still vote out Jen first.

The producers are definitely rigging this. Normally, a penalty nomination means you are placed on the block as a third nominee (hence the punishment's name). But because Jen's already on the block they backtracked and are maybe not having her automatically nominated next week. Now it sounds like the producers are creating a 6th "penalty vote" automatically cast towards Jen before the other 5 houseguests vote (which may cancel out America's Choice trying to save her). What a load of shit. Jen was lied to by the producers. Jameka's worthless ass just got a free pass. She shouldn't pray to God with thanks today, she should pray to Grodner Productions.

From what is going on BB After Dark right now...it was revealed that Jen has now completely broken the slop rule that was in effect on her due to a previous veto competion...the houseguests are disgusted with her lack of integrity in the game and completely alienated her. Daniele and Amber are still out of the house.

I think what happened to Jen was totally fucked up...Dick has thrown Dustin's clothes on the roof, outside the walls of the house, spilled tea on Jen. Jen destroys cigarrettes and gets immediately in trouble...I could see why she feels betrayed by the production team.

Today's episode was golden with the churchy chicks...Amber saying that she's not going to cry and she's going to be strong...yet while she said that she was crying, then 5 min later and then again...well she didn't change. I'm extremely upset that Amber won a trip outside the house, she is garbage and doesn't deserve to win...also her talk about visions with Jameka and how they both involve God with their gameplay...I mean seriously, Dick was right...Like God would care what goes on with 2 contestants on BB. If one of the churchy chicks makes it to the final 2, I'm going to be soooo fucking pissed at this show that I may quit...And I hope and pray that Amber doesn't win a dime on The Power of 10 gameshow.

I just hope she doesn't bring up God to Drew Carey while she is playing. Amber and Jameka both suck, although Jameka has been humbled of late. Amber is a piece of shit. I wish Danielle wouldn't have used that POV, but
Jen's total disregard for everything in the game anymore was worth Amber being taken off the block. Not saying Jen deserves it but it makes for great TV. And what else can I say, Dick makes the show, period. He is always in some kind of controversy. He doesn't have to win but stay on to keep the ratings up. Without Dick, this show would be boring as shit. Look at tonight's episode for instance, Dick hardly said anything although the anticipation was there from the spoilers. And it turned out to be a dull episode.

However, this is a contest so the producers need to check themselves. They should have cast it better from the beginning.

They need to stop being bastards and bump that prize to at least a million dollars. Maybe both Amber and Danielle won over $500,000 and CBS isn't letting them back in.

At least when you play Power Of 10, the producers are not trying to fuck you over and play favorites so they can get a ratings bump.

They're only trying to get rid of Jen because she found the envelope on the Diary Room chair that gave Eric his orders to go after her. So for their own dumbass mistake they're shoving this girl out the door. Dick gets a free pass because he's good for ratings while Jen gets tossed out because she is dangerous knowing Eric is being given names of certain players by the producers. I hope like crazy that Jen mentions the envelope on her way out, if she goes.

I have to assume Daniele has it worked out to definitely send Jen home or she wouldn't have made the switch. Why piss Jen off otherwise?

Assuming that's true, America's Vote will probably screw Eric once again as my guess would be the vote would be for Jameka to go home. I don't think it will keep Jen in the house but it will be yet another odd vote sticking out from the pack. But OTOH America seemed to be on Eric's side last time by voting for him to give the 'woobie' to Jessica. I thought for sure it was going to be Dick. :lol:

Amber volunteering all sorts of extra stuff she would do for Danielle in exchange for coming off the block after Danielle offered just a pass for the next week was great. Then topping it off with a swear on her daughter's life. Too good.

If Amber has the balls to backstab her that maybe wasn't a bad move, but then you just piss off people on the jury. And Amber doesn't seem willing to do much backstabbing.
 
Jen knew she was going home the moment they backdoored her. That's why she ate the food and mess up Dick's cigarettes. It was her trying to get revenge on him, which is why she cried when Big Brother just gave Dick his cigarettes back. Meanwhile Dick is so self-absorbed and a total idiot who can't understand why she did it. He thinks it's a tactic to stay, dumb bastard. He's hiding all her clothes and makeup so she has to leave the house looking as horrible as possible.

Danielle made Dick take her clothes out of the HoH room after she got back and Dick just said he'd hide them in the backyard. Now Jen's wearing Amber's nasty sweatpants and even Amber is thinking of stealing some of Jen's makeup brushes. Wow, it's real bad when even the Bible thumpers are treating Jen like shit. Even Zack is because he said she "cheated" by eating the food. Jessica, timid as she is, is the only one who tries to stick up for her but she gets silenced every time.

Wow, that fight on Showtime was bits and pieces that made Jen look like the aggressor but the whole thing strung together on CBS clearly shows Dick deserved every moment of it. They had different angles better showing Dick blowing smoke in her face, and the climax itself, which was blacked out on Showtime.
 
Best episode of the season so far. I love watching people fight for dumb ass reasons. Jen officially is one crazy bitch. It is funny that there was no blame on Dick. I know it was edited, but I could see that Jen initiated the argument/rage when she messed with his cigs. However, when Dick went back outside and basically told her to get the fuck up, that was all him. Classic how he was trying to burn her ass... It was so wrong but all I could think in the back of my mind was stop reaching for the cigarette.

Oh, as for the game, I hope that Eric ends up winning this.

BB (the producers) are not doing a very good job.

They gave Dick his cigs back?!? That sucks. That would be one of the best game situations this season. The show is starting to go downhill fast. Strangely just after some of the best episodes. But with Jen gone and BB letting Dick do whatever he wants, where is the drama? I would have let America watch as he starts withdrawls.
 
What are the odds that Dick would have knocked Jen on her ass if she'd smacked him across the face? It was funny to see Eric and Jessica just sitting in the hottub during the whole confrontation.

Is anyone going to watch "Power of 10" when Amber and D are on?
 
^^I'll plan to DVR that Power of 10. I grabbed the one night before last thinking that might be it, but it obviously wasn't.

Good episode again last night. I know some people are saying it's been a crappy season, but it's been a great one for me. Jen going into somebody else's stuff is pretty low, but cheating on slop was worse. Dick even talked about how he purposefully blew smoke in her face to get her to leave before she took the cigs so really she had at least a semi-justifiable reason to fuck with them. Still I felt like Dick was way over the top with how he was treating her. At least with the bits they showed.

I think I'm gonna have to bow out of this thread for the rest of the season as I hate having stuff like the fight over the cigs tipped to me before it airs on the show. Not sure if I'll be able to hold to it or not. This thread is a lot of fun. :)

I think that the Po10 episode is next Tuesday, correct? I'll prolly DVR it, too. It was funny to see Amber hamming it up in front of all those people when they got introduced to the audience.

My wife thinks I'm crazy because I start yelling and clapping whenever the predictions and spoilers come true.

Horrible editing from the producers that just made Jen look crazy. She went after Dick's cigs because he's always blowing smoke in her face. Disgusting, but that's our Dick. Now Dick has always gone through everyone's personal belongings (that's how he knew Jen was packing) and he has hid her clothes in the past. But when she got called to the DR, BB replaced Dick's cartons before he ever knew she had destroyed them. That's why she got pissed off that BB wasn't following its own rules and she decided to break the slop restriction. She had read the rule book and knew she would get a Penalty Nom. Then once the rest of the house starts plotting to take out Jameka instead, BB changes it to a Penalty Vote so Jen goes home this week. I don't blame her for being pissed the Dick gets catered to and she gets the rules changed on her. And Dick was trying to burn her with his cigarette. Why didn't he get called out for that? Jen has taken far more than her fair share of crap from Dick since the show started. I was surprised she hadn't retaliated sooner.

And I'm assuming Danielle's (former) boyfriend has already dumped her stuff on the lawn since they had to fly Nick to NYC for her.

And absolutely zero coverage of Dick & Danielle's huge fight but we have time to see Eric in a dress. Whatever.

Jessica has to nominate those two if she's smart. But who will America tell Eric to target?
