"Chocolatier: Decadence by Design returns to its roots and proves to be a very entertaining and challenging treat, but this reviewer wishes there were a few more delicious surprises in store. Still, you'll love this tasty simulation."

Pros: Highly polished business simulation. Thought-provoking gameplay. Great story, characters and environments. Many different kinds of recipes. Can make and sell your own creations.

Cons: Very similar to first game. Sim gamers may not like the mandatory arcade component. Only one game mode (but with no real ending).

"Rangy Lil is by no means a bad HOG; in fact, it's more polished and has far higher production values than a lot of its brethren. Perhaps that why it ends up being so disappointing. It has all the potential to be phenomenal, but ultimately falls just short. If it was just a little more challenging, if the scenes had just a little more variety, if the writing was just a little bit better, then Rangy Lil really could've been outstanding, but instead, it's just ordinary."

Pros: Well-polished. Strong main character. Nice artwork.

Cons: Feels corny. Not enough variety. Too easy.

It doesn't help that lots of the items appear and reappear in the 13 scenes spread over many levels. The hunting, mousing around and tracking down of items feels like a heavy-burden especially on the eyes. Steady hands instead of sharp eyes will prevail in this game."

Pros: Original story. Challenging. Good length.

Cons: Item pop-up effect can be dizzying. No untimed mode. Some items unfairly hidden. Items repeat frequently.

"We didn't dislike Doggie Dash, but we were, ahem, doggone disappointed with it. Sure, it's a decent game but perhaps we hold PlayFirst at very high regard or believe a time management game should offer something new to the genre (or both). That said, players (and for sure animal lovers) will enjoy playing the game during its free 60-minute trial, but there's little reason to play beyond that."

Pros: Diner Dash with pets is a good idea. Many dog types, upgrades and levels.

Cons: Doesn't offer anything new to the genre. Spa locations and upgrades virtually the same each time. Story and dialogue can get annoying. Just doesn't have the PlayFirst magic.

"Take it for what you will: It's not that Travel Agency is bad by any stretch, or even particularly underwhelming. The game just takes its sweet time getting to the good stuff, and does little to quickly build a sense of empathy or endearment with players used to instant gratification. As such, there's little pressing need to sample the amusement, let alone commit to beating it, especially if you're a desktop veteran. However, beginners and collectors may find it worth booting up for a look, if only to see why it's important for developers to put as much effort into creating a sense of atmosphere as truly reflex-testing gameplay."

Pros: Range of patrons/tour packages. Need to maintain worker stamina. Colorful comics tell the tale. Sound difficulty progression.

Cons: Lacks personality. Slow to really ramp up. Sticks too closely to standard formula. Doesn't fully capitalize on theme. Coma-inducing soundtrack.

When the last bastion of hope, a special young girl with magical drawing abilities, falls in imminent peril, you must brave the dangerous, puzzle-filled magical hallways of the tower she's imprisoned in to save her before time runs out. Very little is what it appears to be, and the further you ascend towards the dark spire the deeper you'll be drawn into this strange, imaginative world."

Pros: Gorgeous art style. Superb atmosphere. Inventive puzzles.

There are two very interesting games being offered up today. Millennium is a SNES-style RPG that is better than the Gamezebo rating. It has fun,old-school JRPG turn-based gameplay.

And Drawn: The Painted Tower is a steal at $2.99. Excellent graphic adventure with great production values.

Both of these games are not your typical casual games at all...

"All in all, Stardrone is really one visually stunning game and the game play controls are very smooth and fun. The difficulty of the game picks up also on later levels, and frankly, I definitely loved the challenge. And even though the game does not feature a back story, I guess you won’t be needed that anyway, since in Stardrone, you’re here to make things go boom and not feel all mushy anyway."

This game was just announced for PS3 and Move, though I am sure it will be at a much higher price when it comes out for the console...

"While quite fun and fresh, the game can get difficult very quickly -- but at least when you start a new game it remembers the rare records you found as well as give you access to unlocked power-ups. Also, there's only one game mode, the graphics are average at best and because not all links take you to buy the CD when you click on it, Retro Records feels a bit unpolished, too (it is an independent game, after all). But for music lovers in search of a fun - and frantic - arcade puzzle game will find Retro Records music to their ears."


Pros: Unique concept. Lots of good music to listen to. Fun power-ups and mini-games.

Cons: Only one game mode. Goes from easy to insane very quickly. So-so graphics.

Gamezebo does not have a review of this game. Tower Defense isn't really their style of game that they cover.

I've played it and I loved it at the time. It was the first tower defense game I had ever seen. My only complaint is that it is very short. However, when you finish the game, you can then play it again at 2 harder difficulty levels. The length of the game makes it hard to recommend when it came out at $20. But at $2.99, there isn't much room to complain. The graphics are great. The gameplay is solid. It is a really fun time while it lasts.

Cons: Too-familiar setup. Light on surprises. Easy to guess what’s coming next. Could’ve used more enhancements and innovations.
