Usually I don't get in on good deals, but I did yesterday at my local TRU..


Got a NEO-GEO Pocket for 2.49
Got 4 psone LCDs for 12.98 each!
Got 1 Dreamcast keyboard for 1.49

Good times indeed!
 
Very nice. I know some CAGs are looking for screens. Hook them up. ;) I didn't even know TRU carried the NGP.
 
The only places I ever saw the Neo-Geo Pocket in Los Angeles are Fry's and small independent game stores. If I saw one at TRU for under $25 I'd have to buy it on principle.

Yeah it is a color one - thing is I have no idea if it's cool or not or where to find games? Any suggestions?
 
My TRU NEVER has anything like that. Are the LCD screens the Sony ones?? If you could hook me up with a screen how much would you want? I could Paypal you the money. I've never done any transactions on here but I have 116 positive transactions and no negatives (mmercer13 is my Ebay ID). If that sets your mind at ease.

Yea, at the Toys R Us I work at we have a stack of those screens. If anyone needs them I'll pick up a couple and see if anyone wants one.
 
Yeah I can hook one of you guys up with 21 paypal dollars if you can get me a screen, I have a sad story behind my LCD adventure:

I went to TRU to buy 1 screen, they had 9 and a combo, the guy sold me on a combo, get home open her up and the controller and screen were missing. Great, come back the next morning to exchange only to find that some jackass bought all 9 LCD's right after I left.

He nice haul. Would love to find a Neo Geo that cheap. Too bad my TRUs have been basically empty shells of a late. I guess it must have been the holiday rush and all of their clearances and that coupon.

I just called my TRU and the said they had ten of them at $11.98. I could try to get one for somebody if they like. I have a good rating on paypal. I have no idea what shipping would be for something like that. I need to go pick one up myself.
 
Nice deal on the Neo Geo. I found the Sonic bundle about a year and a half ago for $9.99 at my local TRU. I'm surprised stores still have the systems for sale.

Ok, forget what I said in my above post. I called the guy at TRU and he said that they were $11.98. But when I went to the store they were $18.99. Still a good deal, but I was kinda bummed. Almost twice the cost. They do have about 10. I wonder why the prices are different at different stores.

47 bucks is still too much for a Neo pocket. I should of got them at Ebgames last year for 29.99 with the 6 pack DOH...

yea i will probally end up buying a pocket at 47 didnt see it was the 6 pack (thinking it was the core for 47) ...... Very tempting.
