In a long fought battle, the Obama administration, continuing a Bush administration policy that went into effect when it was authorized by the 110th Congress in 2008 (where both houses were controlled by the Democrats) has succeeded in protecting our Federal Government's rights to place warrantless wiretaps on American Citizens.
