CAGiversary!
I absolve myself of blame for both of these and place the fault squarely upon the shoulders of EA.
The first was buying Rock Band at full price when it came out with the shitty guitar and awesomely bad kick drum pedal and thinking that EA's customer service would come through for me in a reasonable time frame when both broke within a week of each other. Silly me. I swore then and there that I would never buy an EA game at launch ever again. And then they bought Bioware and I had to re-think that a little bit.
The second was buying Dragon Age at full price at launch (well, $54 from Amazon) when within a couple of weeks it was $35-40 everywhere. Cats' Paw boots, you are not worth $14, especially seeing as my backlog didn't get any lighter and I've only managed to play for an hour or two.
