Just got back from a lunch trip to Best Buy. They have the Bioshock 2 special edition for 31 bucks for the 360. They have a bunch of games for 50% off buy the check out (they all have blue dots) It was the Patchogue store on Long Island.

if this is true... ;)

I MIGHT just have to bite. I'm pretty sure my 2 local stores still have a copy or 2 of the LE for 360. I already have the normal game, but i can trade that off easy enough to GS, and get me those LE items for cheap!

Yep, YMMV. Went to the Virginia Beach, VA store earlier today and I was wondering if the special editions dropped any more but they were still at $69.99. I was able to pick up the Xbox 360 racing wheel for $49.99 though....

man those bioshock 2 LE are a total bust. soooo glad i didnt bite (i saw the writing on the wall that it was going to be easy as hell to find). there are more of these around than 90% of all other LE/CEs. the best buy near me has AT LEAST 4 of each (PC,360,PS3), the gamestop by my work has 2 of each. and i am in NYC!!!

either way, at 31$ i'll bite for (what i hear) is a cool box.

YMMV, NOOOOOO. I'd love to have the SE of Bioshock 2 but its probably not happening at local Best Buy.

You can check the stock of your local store for this online (both 360 and PS3), but the price listed isn't 50% off.

Does the PC LE have the same stuff (other than the game)? People have reported in the Target thread that the PC Bio Shock 2 LE can be had for as little as $20.
Interesting. Every BB store in my area has had loads of copies of this for months. Might be worth checking out.
Mine too as I was checkng for penny guides. No clearance dots seen but lots of both PS3 and 360 versions.

no luck at my store. Looking at the lone 360 copy they had with a $69.99 price tag made me sad :(

I seriously want to know if they can match this or sale it to me for 50% off..i mean c'mon..it's been sitting there for months. WTH are you gonna do when no one buys it??

i heard of something, like a fine print law, where most retailer stores CAN price haggle a price given the managerial staff. Like i know a guy who bought an elite bundle recently from BB and haggled it down to $207 :O

I work at a Best Buy in Ohio. That Best Buy was probably just trying to get rid of some of their overstock on games. My store has been known to do things like that on its own accord as well.

Midway mall?

To me, the prospect of the blue/red dot clearance returning to one of my BB's is more awesome than the potential of grabbing this for $31...though that is a great price, and I definitely would grab one at that rate.
