Bioshock (360) - $14.99 at TRU

After tax and shipping it's going to be the same as amazon. Shipping alone is 4.49 unless there's some promo codes I don't know about.

This and Orange Box were two of the only games I asked for for Christmas because I knew they would be cheap. I will be hella pissed if I dont get both games with how cheap I have seen them.

I bought this when it 1st came out and just finished it yesterday. This is a really good game especially for the price.

Wow, and a merry christmas to you, too.

If this is same price instore, which it probably is not, they are having the buy $19.99 or less game and get second one for 50% off starting tomorrow.

Thanks for that tip!
10 bux bet you both called in.
its on the clearance list btw.
Does that mean it's listed at $30 but scans lower at the register?

yep. Most likely they just looked at the price on the shelf.
TRU is awful at price updates. Most employees don't know about these drops until they scan it themselves.

Mite stop by tomorrow for the 19.99 or less BOGO 50% off.
thinking about pairing it with Orange Box or maybe the old Scene It Bundle.

Is this a new clearance list? It isn't listed on the old TRU thread.

anyone gone into stores for price check? My local store is OOS, but I'm heading back Monday. I have $10 in rewards points to use, so hopefully I can get it for only 5 bucks. :)
is it the platinum hits version? if anyone has received it from TRU
I bought Bioshock over a week ago from Amazon for $19.99 along with a few other deals. The one I received was the platinum hits version, which I was a little miffed at. I wanted the original box art.

Is there a difference between platinum hits and the regular game, besides the box art. Haven't opened it yet.
Now if the PS3 version would just drop to $30 I would be thrilled.
Me too. Not touching this til it hits PS3. No matter how low the 360 version gets. Bought my last game for the 360 I think. Trying to phase that collection out. Just don't trust that system anymore no matter how many Jaspers they say they are making. Come on PS3 version.

I'm in the same boat after the last red ring incident. I'm basically just keeping the 360 for Rock Band and other exclusives worth picking up. But anything multi-platform is going to be purchased for the PS3 from now on.

The system has a 3 year warranty so even if it Red Rings a million times whats it matter if they replace it? My only worry is if it keeps happening and the next MS system sucks or isnt BC.

My problem was not only the red ring but random disc read errors on certain games. For example everything would play fine except GTA IV. I just had enough of the buggy nonsense with the system.

I traded in (and sold) alot of my 360 collection and replaced the games with the PS3 counterparts.

The 3 year warranty is great and all, but turnaround time is still a bit ridiculous. I believe mine took 3-4 weeks.

Having both systems I really think the PS3 is the better overall system (blu-ray, stability, free online, upgradeable hard drive, etc.)
