BIOSHOCK $39.99 For X360 Amazon Lightning Deal 12/12 - Going On Now

I know before hey had bioshock + the darkness for $49.99.
But didn't amazon also sell bioshock for $39.99 a couple of weeks ago?
 
paid $60 and loved it. $40's a great price. having played it already, though, $20 is the new sweet spot for a repurchase. I figure I'll be waiting a bit, but that's aight.

Already got the Bioshock/Darkness deal for $49.99, then had the CSR reimburse me when Bioshock dropped $10 and she by mistake reinbursed me for the Darkness as well as it went to $19.99 so got both for free. This surely isn't as exciting as that!
 
Shoots, i just got Bioshock from ebay for $42 incld s&h. I missed the black Friday $40 deal, should have waited, but i was impatient after missing out on the deal. Oh well...
 
I bought the Bioshock/Darkness deal for $50 also. I haven't had a chance to play the Darkness yet, but Bioshock was simply amazing, worth the $50 by itself.
 
Hmmm... not really a deal. Maybe if it was $29.99 I'd bite.


I'm kidding of course, but I just wanted to be the first to say it. Bioshock is a steal even at MSRP; it's that good a game!

You're nuts. This game just came out a couple/few months ago. It just won game of the year at the VGA's. It has been widely critically acclaimed. What part of that do you think says to a publisher, "Wow, it's time to whore this title out?"
 
Is there any way of knowing if Amazon will have a deal on COD4? It seems likes there's a pattern with these recent game deals.

that is the prb...too much to play now. I have it, and prb would buy it for that price, but I have too much.

Only thing I will do is buy GHII or GHIII if and only if i an get them for a good price
 
bioshock is a great game, but after getting through the game and geting the good ending , there is no replay value at all, even with the new plasmids and tonics

great game though
 
I really want to get this game, but considering I don't own a 360 yet (will be soon) and I already have about 3-4 games purchased already for it, it'd probably wait on the backburner anyways.

Yeah! I wish they would! I want it for $39.99 on 360!

I dunno, though. It's a lot newer than Bioshock... Then again, so was Orange Box.
 
i got bioshock darkness combo for 50 and then had bioshock adjusted to 40 because it showed i bought both games at original price and then darkness price applied as a promo certificate. thanks to CAG or SD or whattever

same thing i did with PS3 TC4 adjusted to 40 bucks before it arrived my doorsteps today
 
I might jump on this. This would mean I have purchased bioshock twice. I bought the LE with the Big Daddy but traded the disc back to game stop once I beat...still have all the packaging for the LE and I really wanna replay this on my new tv plus get all the achievements I missed and the new achievements.

You obviously missed the Circuit City deal last week. CoD4 was on sale for $39.99.

Well, it's up now. I can't pull the trigger myself, it would be too hard to justify $40 for Bioshock when other people got that Bioshock + Darkness for $40 after PM.
 
Bioshock seems to be the most Used Priced game at Gamestop/EB Games. Every time I'm in there, there are dozens of this game. I think that's the price for being a must have game without being a must keep game. Also, it was the first in a line of a train of awesome games. So, this was probably put towards their Halo3, CoD4, etc. purchase.
