BioShock FYE Deal - Buy Copies For Other CAGs

I have, since I don't mail stuff very often and all of my usual sources for cheap bubble mailers have gone out of stock seemingly permanently due to Ebayers finding out about them being only $1 there. So, many times I've had to resort to buying a mailer from the USPS when I'm about to mail out a bunch of guides or something, since I don't dare spend the $10-20 for a multi-pack at Staples or Office Depot, since the rest of that pack may well sit for another 3-6 months till someone else grabs more guides.

It just makes more sense(to me anyway) to just buy them as singles WHEN I need them, rather than watching my $10-20 sitting at my house collecting dust while I wait for someone to want to grab something.

And yes, sometimes the amount was OVER $2 for a mailer, so it's definitely one of my costs that fluctuates. But, that's why I try to use the USPS' flat rate priority mail boxes whenever possible, since I get the packaging for free and send one bulky package for one rate.
 
But, aren't those mailers a bit undersized for guides, Pooky? Plus, as I said, I don't do enough deals to really justify having a whole jolly pack of them(let alone 200) sitting around the house.

Yea, i dont use them for guides.

depending on how many guides - etc. I bought 50 of each a while back and only have 10 left of one, almost time for another order.

Buy em all together and shipping aint that bad.
 
Well, I don't exactly have any games I need to have the smaller mailers for now, since I think I have 4-5 games total right now for the last gen systems(2-3 just recently bought). As for the guides, I've been using the flat rate boxes more and more lately. I put the guides all together in a plastic bag or two inside the box, so it makes them easier to slide out without having to destroy the box.

It works for me, thus far.

Word, word. Those are my feelings as well. Game-for-Game trades should be kept to PM's and other threads. This is essentially a buy/sell thread.
 
My pleasure to help out; I picked up 3 and spread them around CAG. I intend to drop back by FYE to see if they have any. I left 1 copy there originally (purchased 4 total) - I didn't want to snatch every copy up on the off chance there was a fellow CAGer here; however if they haven't picked it up by tomorrow I'll snatch it up and offer it here on CAG,

Many thanks to Dezlen for getting a copy out to Chronotrigga. So far 3 copies have been matched up thanks to generous CAGs. The deal ends by the 27th, still plenty of time to help out!

I was told by an employee that my store would be getting a restock today and yet when I called today, I was notified that they were still out of stock. Has anyone had this happen and then went to the store to find out that they did actually have it in stock?
 
Our FYE got restock on Wednesday (Merrillville, IN). No BioShock, sadly.

They got plenty of Hannah Montana shit. Anyone want some of that?

Thanks to Shadowedge for passing a copy on to Synergy. Keep the thread alive guys, still quite a few wanting this game at a fair price.

too bad we dont have a FYE around here anymore. I would of grabbed 10 copies to sell to people here (got around 200 bucks credit on a FYE card i have no use for ) would been nice to got red of all that credit

I have a fellow CAG on hold who has found 4-5 copies of BioShock for $20, and is willing to mail them out at cost to fellow CAGs. I'll be PMing the closest 5 CAGs in line.

I've been trying for a couple of weeks to get a fellow CAGer to hook me up and I've been here over 4 years. It doesn't seem that CAGers are doing this anymore. The deal is still going on (from what others are posting in the other thread) but coming across one in stores is few and far between nowadays. I guess the people that live in the cities with FYEs are done doing it. That stinks for us fellow CAGers that don't even have an FYE. :cry:
