BitTorrent

Was not sure if I could post about BitTorrent on CAG because most forums ban you for it due to piracy issues. However I did a search and found it was talked about in the past in this same discussion. So I was wondering what sites some of you used? Now with people in the USA not being able to use torrentspy I have to find a new one. All others seem slow I tend to only get about 1-5k/s on things that have say 2000 seeders to 500 leachers. In the past I would get about 50-100k/s some times but not often more then that. I did just reformat my computer but in the past I never changed anything with ports for it and have always used BitTorrent and none of the others. Any one know why it could be doing this? Like I said nothing with the ports have been changed in the past for any of it to work.

Public tracker I use is Mininova.

just pay a little money and use newsgroup. You get the fastest speed possible (i get like 400kb/s easily), never have to worry about seed or leech, find some hard to find files, and you will not get caught. If you can find 2 or 3 trusted friends you can split up the cost.

Any chance you have an invite to Bitsoup? I just started using Demonoid a couple weeks ago when they had a public signup... I had been using public til then.

I had been using public til then.[/quote] I couldn't find a way to give invites. You might just have to wait until a spot opens up. Just try to sign up every day and you will get in pretty quickly. I got in by refeshing every hour and looking at how many members there where, when a spot opened, I signed up as fast as I could. The member limit is 100,000, people get kicked all the time, so a spot should open up.
