Nintendo had one of these under glass at E3. I said, "So, this is coming out in America?" and the rep said, "We're not saying either way." Come on, guys. What's the deal?
 
o_O might jump on this. wanted to get one from play-asia but couldn't bring myself to buy it (shipping costs I believe)

might buy this when I put some money in my bank account.

Anyone used one of these who could comment on the feel? Similar to a GameCube controller in a Dual Shock form factor?
 
I would be a lot more interested if there wasn't a wire hanging out of the back :(
I hate plugging into the remote.
 
Thanks for the heads up OP. I've been thinking of getting one from Play-Asia. Hadn't pulled the trigger yet but will now.

It's very much like the Dual Shock controller. That said, I haven't played any VC games that really benefit from this controller over the regular Classic Controller. Someone should try this out with Sin and Punishment.

So a lot more comfortable than the standard classic controller? I might have to pick one up if the button mapping for Sin & Punishment is better than the GameCube layout. Something about that layout breaks my brain and cramps my hands.

I don't know if I'd say a lot more comfortable than the CC but I never really had big complaints about the CC to begin with. I really think the benefits will show themselves with certain games that I don't own.

This has been their price on these for awhile -- I've had my eye on them, but I'm sure the day after I order one, Nintendo will announce the NA release... replacing the normal CC for $20.

for anyone wondering, I recently picked one up from ebay and I will never go back to the old classic controller. The feel of the d-pad is a bit tighter and it simply feels better to hold. Of course, it is a lot to spend on a controller you can only use in very specific games....

I got mine shipped from ebay for like $32-$35 (somewhere in that range), so this doesn't seem like much of a deal.
 
its OOS anyway now. I'm sure it'll release stateside, since I remember Nintendo having some sort of lawsuit against them for the original classic controller.
