Black Friday 2008:)

Last year I ordered off bestbuy.com on thanksgiving day so I did pretty well since I didn't have to go to the store and only had to pay like 6$ extra shipping to get my item (it was an external hard drive). Those drives went fast though they were gone before 5pm that day on the website. I wouldn't waste my time in the stores, the deals aren't that good, I probably won't need anything this year and I can find as good or better deals during the year.

Amazon did have some nice game system deals though, if you bought a console at the right time you pretty much got some free games with it, which was really nice.
 
What are the chances of scoring a decent HDTV around 27inches for a good price? (For the bedroom)
Me thinks there is a good chance.

HDTV are usually really hard to get... most people line up for any good deals on HDTVs long before stores open for BF.

I'm hoping for a decent subwoofer or some good flood standing speakers for cheap... but those rarely go on sale.:whistle2:\

people at target are crazy. parents at the disney store are even crazier..

everyone looked like they just robbed santa claus

Hmm...does anyone know what comes in the DS starter kits? I'm hoping a decent carrying case...that DS+Starter kit+Phantom Hour Glass at Circuit City for 139.99 looks mighty tempting

Does everyone realize that those list on the front page are from last year? Don't expect this years for a while.
 
yeah... i live in an area that gets slammed too... milwaukee suburbs, CC, BB, 2 GS, Mall... with in a 3 block radius... its insane... last year i left BF with nothing
 
Last years experience was pretty bad for me, my whole family had troubles. My parents couldnt get out of the parking lot for an hour, my brother almost got his ticket stolen because some idiots tried to steal it from him, only to realize that he was holding a PC ticket and they were trying to get a tv -_- And I was picking the smaller items, DVDrs, flash drives, dvds, just a long wait as well as the various shoving, cart slamming, etc. The CC, Target and Walmart are all within a 5 minuete drive of each other, and there's a BB across the street of Walmart, so.....very bad area during BF
