I think this was answered earlier in the thread but does the Old Navy promo exclude buying a 20$ gift card? And can you return your 20$ item later on without surrendering the game you think?

I switch between the two. It usually comes down to me buying multiplatform single player games for PS3, and FPS/online games for 360. If you don't want to pay for gold, PSN is free :bouncy:

In the end I play them both equally, but my 360 definitely gets more play time when a big online shooter is released (Halo, COD, etc) or if I have friends over.

You don't have to sign up for the site to buy it, but I would recommend signing up for the newsletter since GoGamer has these "48 Hour Madness" sales, and sometimes stuff is marked down a LOT. Like right now they're selling MadCatz Wii NunChuks for $5 each.

They also have a lot of other games or accessories at good prices.

The 360 is my second console I have owned for 8 and 3/4 months. I play it to enjoy the Achievements, friends, online gameplay and some entertainment. As for the Wii being my first console, I use it for good action platforming games and fun stuff on Wi-Fi. I play both equally.

360 more. For achievements, online play, Netflix, friends, having people over. Pretty much everything. My PS3 was mainly bought for Bluray,LittleBigPlanet,Uncharted,Final Fantasy, and Kingdom Hearts 3.

I have both for a few years now and i hardly touch my PS3, i have a few games for it but mainly use it for a bluray. Also i hate the PS3 controller.
 
I'm not sure if this has been covered but I stopped by my local walmart and there is a display full of games with blue stickers which include Godfather II and GTA 4. Deadspace and Lotr Conquest had blue stickers as well so I am assuming they will also be $10. There were a lot of DS games that I didn't bother looking at.
 
I hear that Walmart is doing a deal with DJ Hero, where you get a $40 gift card with purchase. Can anyone confirm this because I will gladly buy it if this deal is legit.

I play my PS3 a great deal more than my 360. I've always liked the Sony controller over the 360 one. I do play my 360 still, but I prefer gaming on my PS3.

For me I only use the 360 for exclusives since I don't have LIVE. I imagine if you've owned a 360 you'll probably get most multiplatform games there as you've probably built up a decent friend list there and such.

But even still, I would recommend the PS3 for the strong library of exclusives. I would check out Uncharted 1+2, inFamous, MGS4 (recommend playing the first 3 as well if you got a PS2), Valkyria Chronicles, Killzone 2, Ratchet&Clank games, Heavenly Sword (bit short but an excellent rental), Motorstorm:pacific Rift (loved this much more than the original), LittleBigPlanet, and Demon Souls. You may not like all of them but it's a good list to find some games to kick off your PS3 collection.

Also look out for Gran Turismo 5, God of War 3, Heavy Rain, Final Fantasy Versus 13, and Agent (upcoming game from the GTA studio) in the future and I'd say the PS3 has enough to offer even if you own the 360.

Awesome. They matched damn near every good gaming deal there was (on the software side of things, at least), and they had L4D PC for $20 mere weeks after its debut. As you can probably imagine, that vanished quickly. Most sales actually lasted a decent while, though.

I would like to see L4D2 for $34.99 too. Last year "Santa" left L4D in my stocking. My young son asked me a few days ago if I thought "Santa" would leave L4D2 in my stocking this year; sure hope so!

yay radioshack's sale of dual shock 3 are back; ive regretted it missing it last year. hopefully amazon or at least newegg will have good hdtv deals (so BF hdtv deals seems mediocre at best).
 
Hey is there a Black Friday trade thread started somewhere that I can't find?

I'd like to grab some stuff from Gamecrazy (Smash Bros. and Prototype (PS3) but the nearest store is about 100 miles away. I know usually some generous people will pickup some extra items for other CAG's and then send'em off for cost + shipping (and a little appreciation fee from the person asking for their trouble)

I just haven't seen if there was a thread started up yet, so if someone could link me too it I'd be most grateful.

Black Friday is sometimes tough for things like that since stores usually have limits like 1 per customer so you may end up getting lucky finding someone going to that store looking for something other then those 2 games to pick them up for you. That is probably why you have not seen a thread started up or you might see some of those sort of items pop up in peoples trade lists after Black Friday.

Walmart sales start at 5 and there's gonna be a loooong line into electronics to get that stuff. I'd say take a thermos of coffee and be camped out no later than 2am.

from what i remember, there were over 100 people camping at walmart and bestbuy last year at about 10:00pm, thursday. you would have to be a complete knob to do that

Haven't touched my 360 since playing PS3. Only keep it for an occasional exclusive really. Prefer Dualshock 3 for it's awesome dpad, motion control for some games that do it right, and internal rechargeable battery. Prefer PS3 UI, ability to backup system easily and upgrade HDD later, and free online. Why pay for online if you own both consoles. And my PS3 is 100x 1000x more quiet than my 360, which distracts from the game experience. I prefer PS3's exclusives more too so spend most of my time with those games.
 
Is there a way we can send Amazon a link to Best Buy/Wal Marts/Radio Shack/etc BF ads so they are more easily aware of the competition to ensure price matches?
