I don't want to sound stupid, but I've actually never been Black Friday 'shopping'. Usually, I'm just too lazy to get up at 5AM to get in my car and drive around. However, hopefully this year will be different. I'm hoping to pick up a few quality games from KBToys, Target, Circuit City, and Kmart. Thus, I was just wondering if tax is significantly higher on Black Friday to compensate for the low prices. I live in Pennsylvania. Thanks a lot.

You are kidding? yes? Thanks for the giggle, I needed it....

Tax is exactly the same. However, getting up at 5AM might not be anywhere near early enough depending on what you're looking to get.

No, the taxes aren't any different, but here in Georgia they have a 'sales tax holiday' which (at first) created a "Black Friday" like frenzy (it's not on the same day as BF).

That's what I thought. That stores had no control over tax. I could have sworn I read somewhere where stores were sly and added extra prices on the items or something. Well, I'm now officially stupid. Aight.
Lol, 5AM...The lines are already formed WELL before that time from my experience.
Yeah they are, especially if the store is small sucks even more.

If taxes ended up being higher... why would anyone even go out for the sales...

We had people lined up at BB the night before BF last year to score some of the LCD tv's, I got out at 3ish last year for Circuit City

No offense, but the deals that you are looking at, at 4 seperate stores, there is no way you can get them all. Especially if you leave at 5 AM.
