You definitely need to try the Wavebirds. I have four of them, and I absolutely love them. I suppose the only downside is their no rumble function, but I can live with that...

The Jet GC controllers are $13.98 in the Bay Area, and most are OOS.
I just got back from Target in Indianapolis, IN and they had like 5 left of the Jet Black GC controllers, for $9.98. In addition to these, they also had the Slate Grey (semi-transparent) Ps2 controllers, official Sony brand for $12.48. I picked up one of those as well.

Stopped by Target last night. Got the last Wavebird for $15. Only the white Wavebirds were cheap. Silver were still regular price.
No regular GC controllers left of any color. However, I got a silver for $10 a couple of weeks back from the same store, and a spice a few months ago I haven't even opened yet, so I'm set.
They also had DualShock 2 controllers for $12.50 (slate color only, others were regular price), so I grabbed one. And they had PS2 online adapters for $17.50. Didn't need one, but that's a pretty good deal for new.

If anyone is near the Target in Capital Plaza in Austin Tx..go to the backside of the gamecase and look at the "platinum" gamecube wavebird section. there are 3 rows on the peg board. the middle one has a grey wavebird i moved to the very back that was marked for 14.98.
