OK. i know I have made some sarcastic comments attempting to alleviate the seriousness of the topic and tried to interject some humor but let me be serious here.
Why is there this sudden feeling over the past few years in Hollywood that there needs to be more Black leading roles? I mean seriously, I get that we are still trying to overcome racism and make amends for the shit that has happened in the past, but to just start throwing black actors into roles that honestly dont work for them is crap.
Want some examples... ok. The new Honeymooners movie a few years ago. That was total shit. Supposedly a reboot from the tv show which was honestly some of Jackie Gleasons greatest comedy bits, they

ing ruined any chance of making any interest in this movie by shoving black actors into those roles. That movie turned to crap due to it. They did not fit those roles that the whole damn thing was based on. Also, lets not forget the wonderful attempt at a new Caddyshack movie... Who's Your Caddy? Seriously.... Now you want to take a franchise that is solidly set having a white male protagonist and "reboot" it with a black male lead? Let me guess, while you are at it you would probably want Tyler Perry to direct this shit also right? Hell lets go all the way and instead of Aunt May it can be Aunt Madea. Hell maybe he can even get to Meet the Browns while he's at it.
I am a sound believer in the old addage "If it's not broke don't fix it." I have no problem with a reboot. I have no problem with continuing on the same storyline and just changing lead actors. I do have a problem with changing the whole foundation that a franchise is based on.
1. They haven't said who they are casting yet
2. A black peter parker is not going to completely change movie. It will be the same

ing movie just the actor playing peter will be of a different race. Have you seen community? Donald Glover is perfect for the part.
3. I really think you must be racist of something if you have such a big problem with an actor with a different skin tone playing Peter Parker and you think its going to become some sort of bullshit movie.
4.Would you rather have them cast a boring generic white actor with no comedy skills?
