OMG, I might actually buy this game now. I've been so worried it would be a bust though since you can't tell if an EA game is actually any good until it's released.

Yeah, but this game is only being published by EA, not developed. It was developed by criterion. I think they make the Burnout games.
 
just to let you guys know, $39.99 is the MSRP

personally i'm expecting a price drop/sales in a month or two after release

I bought Burnout Revenge from them and I had no problems. It ships from the same wherehouse that DeepDiscountDVD ships from.
 
Yea I love burnout revenge. What I ment by the EA comment is that EA will publish a crappy game promoting it like it's the greatest game in tha world. This game also seems to be written in "film language" (if you follow the D.I.C.E coverage you know what I'm talking about). It doesn't have a multiplayer (who do they think they are bethesda) either so if the single player layout is the same as every other FPS expect to see a price drop pretty quickly. Right now I'm compairing this game to GUN.
 
I really liked the demo of Black on the OXM disc. I will wait for it to drop in price, though since I have way too many games to play already.
