Just a heads up, for MSN you don't even need that ebuddy program on the android operating system. If you go to the IM function on it, it gives you the option to sign into AIM, Windows Live, and Yahoo Messenger.
That being said, I would go with the Droid any day. I have been using a G1 since about a week before launch, and I would never think of getting a smart phone with a different operating system at this point. Having used a Droid before, I would definitely recommend it, with one warning. The physical keyboard it has is pretty weak, as the keys are so damn small and close together that it makes it hard to type with... but then again, with the inclusion of swype, that seems to make that a moot point.
