I put like 30 hours into Blazblue with Litchi and after getting sick of trying to learn everything I picked Jin and had absolutely no trouble dominating. That game pissed me off, I'm sticking with SSF4.

Not to say it's a bad game, it's actually pretty awesome. I just couldn't handle it.

Unless there's some sort of sweet pre-order incentive, seeing how quickly SSFIV dropped in price, I'm going to wait a few weeks to a month before picking this up. I bet it will hit $27.99 by then. Not being a fully fledged sequel so to speak, I see this having very short legs.
