blazblue (ps3) for 32.98 @ amazon: update now 29.99

For what it's worth, Gamestop has lowered it to $29.99 new. It's $24.99 used on the site (listed as "online price only"), but I saw it at $27.99 used in-store today.

Is that for the collectors edition too? Because I know my gamestop still has a new copy of it.
 
I paid $60+ for the limited edition on release, and it was worth every penny. Really, if you like fighting games, don't give this a second thought- just go for it! :D

I don't think so -- the Gamestop website still lists the collector's edition at $59.99. The store that I was at didn't have it, though, so I can't confirm one way or the other.

They have- Continuum Shift is out in Japanese arcades now, and someone managed to hack/crack a copy to work on PCs...

Wow, really tempted to bite on this one. I've been keeping my eye on this game for awhile now. However, if GS is selling it for $30 new (and advertising it as a price drop and not a sale), a price drop on Amazon's part should be imminent. I'll hold for the time being.

If you enjoy fighting game and you don't have BlazBlue in your collection yet, slap yourself across the face.
 
If they had the Xbox 360 version of this for $10 less, I could see myself getting it since its my primary platform for fighters. But I'd rather just hold off until C.Shift
 
Blazblue absolutely murdered SFIV for me when it came out. I could probalbly cound the number of times I touched SF:IV since this came out on my fingers. It has a great story, fantastic style, and is a ton of fun. At this price you owe it to yourself to add it to your collection.
 
Does anyone actually know whether the updated one is actually coming (in a US release) for the 360/PS3 or not? It's nice that there's going to be a PSP version and all, but that's not really a system that I care to play fighters on. While I'd prefer to wait if there's going to be a better version too, I don't want to miss out if it's not actually going to happen.
 
$27.99 + 10% Edge Discount is a heck of a deal. I've been waiting for the price to come down some. Gonna head over to GameStop tommorow.

Blazblu is not underrated because critics and everyone that owns it pretty much threw praises and their panties on it. Also SF4 is just as qualified as Blazblu as an example of a marquee gaming franchise.
 
Any chance of this dropping below $30? My backlog (Darksiders, Bayonetta, Demon's Souls, Tekken 6, etc.) is so incredibly big that even if I bought this now, I wouldn't get to it for months.
 
good game but hard to get excited over this when TvC is right around the corner and in some cases already here.
 
^ Depends. Is it factory sealed? If so, then yes, it's selling for more everywhere else, even eBay. If not (i.e. Gamestop gutted copy) you can probably find the same for cheaper on eBay (Like New)
 
The price on this game finally dropped. I've been waiting for it to drop ever since it was released almost a year ago. With the $10 gc from TVC, it's $23 for me :):)
 
Dang, I'm tempted by this because it's an actual 2D, and I assume high-end 2D game on a current gen console (one of what...2?) Realistically though I don't really play fighting games much.

Does it have decent online, ranked maybe? And dumb question, if I love the Street Fighter Alpha series, will I like this? Or is it more spastic like Marvel vs Capcom or Smash Bros, none of which I can stand?
 
Continuum Shift won't be out for a while on the 360. The game has not been out in arcades long and they haven't announced anything on North American release.(Even tho its guaranteed)
 
just to let you guys know the limited edition for the ps3 probably ran out since they made only a 100,000 of each system. you probably got a chance to get the xbox 360 version. so i wouldnt count on a price drop on the limited edition version.
 
Picked up a used copy at my local GS, but for $26.99. Still so freaking happy to get it for a reasonable price.
 
ah I might have gotten it at that price. Looks like it is 29.99 at gamestop though it is not available online at the moment. That's both PS3 and Xbox 360.
