Blazing Angels Demo on Live

Loved it but since I have Oblivion it will have to wait awhile before a purchase, I will definately get it though in due time

Yeah and is the issue with the lines still there for anyone that noticed it in the demo? I can look past it, but not for 60 bucks I think. Though I think I'm gonna trade Perfect Dark and Madden for this.

well yeah ... i was so ready for this game been looking forward to it for some time ... but the demo was a bit disappointing.
most on that list was the SUPER-unbearably annoying radio chatter ....
now i dont know if im going to get it ... dont think its going to be worth 60$

i think the gamespot review says it all

The Bad: Dull mission objectives; easy dogfights; downright offensive enemy voice acting.

The lines moving up and down the screen you describe sounds like the devs disabled vsync in this game. Disabling vsync can massively increase performance but create visual artifacts like the ones people are describing.

I was thinking about getting this, but not anymore after playing this demo. Graphics are so-so, Voices are terribly, Controls felt stiff. I much prefer Crimson Skies over this mess.

Count me as another one who won't be buying after playing the demo, I was sort of looking forward to it but the demo killed it for me, too disorienting while locking and flying.

so this is the 2nd demo that hunts back to the publisher eh? (first one being Full Auto)

i still can't download the demo....it stops randomly

Yes and No.

Yes in the sense that MOST people who played the Full Auto demo realized the game wasn't worth full price.

However apparently not enough people downloaded the Full Auto demo, because my local stores were sold out and EBgames was sold out a week after. Only to see multiple used copies at my local EB and Gamestops proved that the game was garbage.

I'll wait for this to hit the bargain bin, much like The Outfit and Full Auto.

I was going to get it but Im having too much fun with Oblivion to hop onto this.. Once its down to about 20-25 I will pick it up since I liked the demo

Play-Asia has stated that the Asian version of the game is region free and only $39.90. Does any one know if this will work online here stateside and if I would still get acheivements? Thanks

Also the Asian version version of Ghost Recon is Region Free and $39.90. Both games are in English as well.

I did NOT like the demo either. I thought it was average at best. I guess the flying controls started to annoy me, but I never really played too many flying games. I didn't like Crimson Skies much either....

Oh well, I wasn't really looking forward to it anyways.

I don't like flight games either , especially in space with no horizon line .

Do you invert your mouse in FPS's?

I play all games with "flight style" controls , I use the analog stick as if was controlling the top of my head .
I've always thought it was more natural , like tilting my head back to look up .

I would just wait it out, it will be @ the $40 mark in NA soon enough.

I understand where you are coming from, but think if you could get launch titles that are region free and in english for $20 cheaper that is a steal.

Besides Blazing Angels Play-Asia also states that Ghost Recon is region free and in english and only $39.90. Wouldn't you rather get a game at launch for $43 rather that $65 (including tax and shipping)?

I would assume it would work since on the compatibility list it says it will work for North America.. I may order from them sometime in the future and if it doesnt work i can turn around and sell it on ebay
