I saw this posted on the billboard at my Blockbuster as I was driving home today.

I don't know about everyone elses Blockbuster but I like buying from the Previewed section there because they do not put any stickers or writing on their games.

Cheers!
Chris

nice post. i think somebody was bragging on a diff thread about this. they a few max payne 2's and traded them in at gamecrazy for a nice amount of store credit.

The only problem with this is that my local blockbuster has a crappy selection of used games. Otherwise it might be a good deal.

I must be lucky, because last time I snagged things like Metal Gear Substance, Star Fox Adventures, and another decent game (I can't remember right now) for like $30.

The sale is supposed to run through the end of March. Their Gamerush stores are also doing this deal.

I picked up Max Payne 2, F-Zero GX, and Soul Calibur 2 for about $25.

nice, i will be at mines tomorrow morning.

Quick question, are thes games complete with manual and insert or are they just game and case? Also does it have that ugly blockbuster case and sticker on the the CD?

they usually have the cases/manuals (sometimes in horrible shape) but otherwise they have em in these pre played blockbuster cases. i dont know about the sticker on the cd though, i thought they stopped putting those on there cause it would make the cd heavier on one side and cause it to not run in the players.

When I got Star Fox Adventures it had Box, Manual(s), Inserts, and Disk in like new condition. I was amazed! NOt only that, but they had like 10 copies of the same quality. The other games I got were of about equal condition and completeness.

max payne 2s' are trading in for $25 at gamecrazy, I'm gonna grab 2 for xbox and 2 for ps2 (as they allow up to 2 of each title to trade in) and get final fantasy xi

i got Max Payne 2 for xbox but it had no manual. I was pissed off and the guy said they are usually stolen when people rent the game. I also got ZOE and Getaway for $10

too bad i don't have gamecrazy. my BB didn't have much of anything besides Max Payne 2, which was $30, not $20 for PS2. it was $20 for Xbox though. i'm probably going to go check out another BB, see if they have a better selection.

I went to my Blockbuster last night and Picked up Tony Hawk Underground, True Crime and Manhunt. All were in good condition with the exception that Manhunt has no manual...nothing I cant fix  . It was $78 with taxes. A very good deal seeing as though they still go for $50 each in the stores.

Seems high for prior rentals. Manhunt is $30 this week at BestBuy ($25 if one uses the GGC coupon), THUG and True Crime are each $33 ($28 each with coupon). That comes to $81 (assuming use of the coupons), plus tax. A little bit more than you paid (I don't know your tax rate, but it is probably less than a $10 difference), but I think new games are worth a little bit extra (plus you'd have the Manhunt manual.

I picked up Smackdown: Bring the Pain, Jak II, and Everything or Nothing the other day for $75 plus tax. Of course, since I already had $130 in credit at Blockbuster I didn't really take too much of a hit.

So even Blockbusters that don't have the used game store attached are doing this promotion? I'll have to check mine out.
