Blockbuster savings!
Hollywood Video also has a 3 for $25 on used DVD's.
But and i cant say this enough...
blockbuster is a trade store now.. they have alot more dvd's to choose from than hollywood, and because they accept trades for dvd's this also means that they not only have new dvd's that are used off the new release wall, but older movies as well because of the trades!! hollywood only has the new off the wall movies. blockbuster also accepts trades for video games.

I saw this the other day. Does anyone know how long the promotion is going to run? I want to pick up Bourne Supremacy, I Robot, and Collateral, but I don't know when pre-viewed copies will become available. I've had no luck so far.

I'd give it a couple of months after initial release. I was wondering this too, and Butterfly Effect showed up 6 weeks after it was released on DVD this summer. The problem with Blockbusters near me is that very particular movies tend to show up more often... usually big budget movies that dont do so well. There's always a ton of the Hulk, Legally Blonde 2, Starsky and Hutch (S and H is priced 7.99 if you want it for cheap), etc. I'd be surprised if you see many of the Bourne Supremacy and Collateral, since they were well received, but I Robot could show up pretty soon. Even if you can't make it for this sale, used DVDs are always 2 for 20 at BB.

BTW, craven, they were selling the whole Office S1? Were there that many in stock? I'd be very interested in picking it up at some point.

i got the last one in stock. had there been any more, i probably would've gotten some to trade with cags, b/c from what i've heard the show is brilliant.

it's a great way to get single disk movies for cheaper...rather then paying $15-$20 bucks just wait a month or more and get three of them for almost the same price

the only thing that sucks, from my experience, is not getting the insert sleeves in most of the movies i purchase. i am stickler for completion with my dvds/games.

but for the price I'll print the inset off the computer. I stock up on these deals. I have more of a dvd collectrion habbit then games. I only keep about 20 games at a time then the ones I won't play get sent to the trade in god and I get somehting new. Dvd however are a different story. I have baout 1,000 dvds. I have four racks slap full of them. Just can't trade them in for some reason.

It's a pretty good deal, especially when they let you buy more expensive stuff with it. I've used that and the 2 for $20 deal to get The Simpsons Season 3 and Sex and the City Season 3.

Plus, I can make a profit at BB by buying three $25-$35 items for $25 and selling them for $15 each.

I've seen a couple of episodes, and its amazing. Really dry humor, kinda feels like Office Space without a soundtrack. It retails at 20 bucks at Best Buy, but its a steal at 10 or in a 3 for 25 deal. Unfortunately, my BB hasn't had any season series in the used section.

The Blockbusters around here sell each disk of TV box sets individually. I wish they sold them as one item.

My local Blocbuster just put The Terminal, Spiderman 2, Elf, Stepford Wives, and Harry Potter 3 new on the preowned shelves.

I am gonna go and pick up Punisher, Terminal and somthing else.

Mine just got HP3 in. Would have picked it up, but nothing else seemed worth it. I might wait till next month or February when Garden State and Anchorman go in preowned.

Mystic River at 7.99 seems like a deal... dont get it as part of a 2 for 20 or 3 for 25 though.
