Definitely not as good as Contra, but it also might not be as bad as the reviews say. The few users on Amazon seemed to like it. The game has a 65.0% on Gamerankings with three reviews.

Ever played Abuse for the PC? It's practically the same exact thing. The same aiming mechanic (left stick controls the character, the right controls your aim,) the same jump mechanics, and the same dark atmosphere.

A fun little game, but no replay value at all.
