Don't waste money on Tsubasa Season 1. You can get season 1 + 2 and the movie (maybe OVAs? Can anyone confirm?) from Amazon for like $67 as a pre-order.

I squeaked in an order a couple of days before the price change for $55.99. :) I just stumbled upon it, I wish I would have posted it but I didn't know how good a deal it was at the time.

If anyone has experience with SunDevilDVD then I fount a Akira deal depending on the shipping which I'm checking out now.

First class shipping = 3.73

Total on Akira = 23.73

They are a well-known bootleg website. I would stay away from them even if this listing is legit.
Ah ok. Well that ruins everything majorly.
Yeah I'm tempted to jump on that too. Can anyone actually recommend the movie though? The amazon reviews seem rather mixed.

For me, Skycrawlers was really just a one-time watch, but I thought it was pretty darn good. Tugged at my heart strings a bit. The pacing is pretty slow, though (which isn't surprising, since we ARE talking about Mamoru Oshii here.

Wow... I got locked in with it in my quick picks... for 63.64...

I've noticed that amazon has been doing that a lot with anime lately...

Locked in on the following...

FMA Brotherhood blu 29.44 now 40.99!!
DBZ Dragon box 3 39.89 now 53.99 !!

A lot of the new Funimation blu's have had some serious price movements...

I've seen them all bounce from 37.99 to 45 or so... now trinity blood is at 34.99 and still a prerelease.

I've just got to a point to preorder things with they are first put up for preorder and show in my quick picks. Then decide if I want to keep the order as it gets closer to release day.

Another one that changed in the wrong direction was Shigurui. Nicely priced at $19.99, then it was taken off the site after some complained they weren't getting a booklet that was actually DVD-exclusive...and now back up at $28.99.

Pretty much do yourself a favor and doublecheck everything they sell, SunDevilDVD is pretty much a bootleg outfit, buy at your own risk, personally I had issues with them when I ordered thru Amazon Marketplace, Amazon gave me a refund when I explained that one of their marketplace vendors was sundevildvd, I had my refund in under 15 minutes.

Adding this to the OP.

And to stay away from SunDevilDVD
i was wondering why amazon uk able to ship their stuff to US while amazon jp cant...
Laws. Some stuff from Amazon JP you *can* ship to the US, some you can't. Marketplace is almost a guaranteed no, but some things from Amazon you can. It's mainly countries laws on importing/exporting.

They are in fact region free. I got mine and they play fine in my PS3 :)

Also if anyone else has any other websites they would like to be monitored let me know.

I have been mainly doing Amazon, because they seem to be the best. If anyone can give me any other reputable sites I will keep an eye on them. So far Amazon has done the best when I've searched. Also it has the lowest free shipping price tag. So just give me some input and thoughts please, and also I need ideas on a good layout that doesn't piss people off.

Just ordered claymore and afro samurai season 1. any recommendation on good anime. i do prefer japanese voices with english subtitles.
Do you want blu only?
doesn't matter to me it could be dvd bro. only thing i prefer is japanese voices with english subs if possible.

Samurai seven comes right off the top of my head. I really like that one. I'm tired and think of anything else.
