WE DO NOT HAVE PDFS OF THE COUPON PRINTING COUPONS, THE COUPONS ARE INDIVIDUALLY NUMBERED

Please keep trade and other off topic chatter to a minimum. It is healthy and unless it gets out of hand or really off topic or in a direction that is heading towards fraud or illegal actions, please do not worry.

The Disney Movie Rewards site has changed, the coupon printing is now associated with your account, printing 2 times per account is now the limit, as well as per computer. This was tested at the end of the Toy Story craze a few months back. If you have a girlfriend with an account or a brother or sister, see if you can have their extra coupons if you need them.

So here are the coupons:
not if you go get a coupon from their website and email it to me its no different than how everyone else is doing it.

I am looking for the $5 off coupon for the combo packs
I doubt anyone is going to give up there coupon to you as each person only gets 2.

I just got back from Target in E. Hanover, NJ. Coupons scanned fine. I tried the TRU down the road and they told me they were instructed to not accept the coupons at all (total bullshit).

Also, I'm just noticing this now and it really really sucks but these things come in standard DVD cases (not blu-ray).

There's 2 versions, DVD case and Blu-Ray case...contents should be the same, one Blu-Ray version and one DVD version of the movies. You just happened to pick up the ones in the DVD cases. ;)

Do the both give 125 Reward Points ?

I have the Bluray versions , I'm just wondering .

You picked up the wrong ones. Both the DVD format and Blu-ray format have both contents. (DVD & Blu-ray). One's in a DVD sized case and the other's in a Blu-ray sized case.

See if you can swap them out. I had to look on a different shelf to find the correctly sized case.

Shit. Really? Dammit. I need to go back tonight and swap them out. So annoying.... but good to know I can get the cases I want. Now I wonder if I need to print 2 more coupons or if I can just do an even swap without them.

EDIT: I printed them to be safe. If they don't have them (OOS) can I hang onto the copies I have and do an exchange later in the week (or next week when the initial sale is over)?
BEWARE TRU PRE-ORDERERS: the guy who rang me up this morning didn't know how to properly scan my pre-order card. I ended up getting out of there for $2.93 for both TS1 and TS2 using the two $10 and two $5 coupons. He didn't give me credit for the $5 each I'd already spent on the pre-orders.

Make sure they scan your stuff properly. I'm not gonna make a big deal out of $2.93, since I essentially got P&TF, TS1 and TS2 for $14. (perhaps this is not in the true spirit of CAG (wink) but I'm okay with the deal I got.)
That's what I was saying the other day. They may not honor the $10 PO discount, either intentionally (by saying you never paid $10 OOP) or unintentionally. I remember they had problems with the last Halo game and with Snow White on Bluray getting the PO to apply.

Even swap should be fine, they cost the same.

If you PM the TRU prices for the TS blu-rays at Target, is there a specific counter you go to do so? I'm afraid this might run out at my local TRU before I can get there.

Got my copies of TS1 and TS2. I just wish I could have found the Target coupons. Where are they located?

Final score....

Target
Toy Story 1 (blu): $19.97 (Fry's price match)
Toy Story 2 (blu): $19.97
Discount when buying both: -$10
Toy Story 1 coupon: -$10
Toy Story 2 coupon: -$10
----------------------------
Final price: $12.78

Well, I am fucking PISSED OFF! Since I don't have a ToysRUs or Target (or a BestBuy for that matter) less than an hour away, I was pleased to learn that KMart was doing the save $10 promotion, and I even noticed last night that WalMart.com has a "bundled price" for $39.72 (exactly $10 less than the individual prices...which made me hopeful that WM in store would have the deal).

I go into my local WalMart this afternoon, grab the blu-rays, have them scan them, and of course they don't ring up with any discount. I tell the cashier about the promo at every other fucking store all across the country, and at first he suggests that those are probably for "just the single disc blu-ray version".

I tell him it's for that version, and he seems surprised, but says that they'll probably be able to comp it for that price. But he has to get manager approval. So, the manager comes up, acts like a complete bitch, and tells me that they don't price match promotions. But if the advertised price had been $5 cheaper, they would do it. She then starts to lecture me about why they do it this way, and my blood begins to boil.

With as much as I know about these deals and these stores, the last thing I need is for her to fucking quote policy to me. My frustration was not in the fact that they wouldn't match the deal, but in the fact that they're the ONLY freaking store not doing it to begin with (nice that WalMart feels arrogant enough to sell the movies together for $49.92 when ToysRUs sells them for $33.98 and Target for $35.98). But I bite my tongue and tell her "That's fine. I'll go across the street to KMart, where they are doing the deal."

I get to KMart, and find that the only version of the movies they have are the shitty DVD case version. The clerk in electronics asks if I need any help, so I ask if they have any versions in the blu-ray case. She tells me "Well, that one has a blu-ray in it..." Struggling to be polite, I tell her "So, this is all you have? I was looking for a different packaging." She says that's all they have, and I leave.

So, it looks like I get to make the one hour drive to Target and/or ToysRUs on Thursday after all. If they're sold out of the movies by then, there is a good chance I could end up in jail for knocking over a magazine rack and throwing glitter everywhere. It's reasons like this that I hate planet Earth. Some assholes on here are scamming stores to save an extra $10 off an already amazing deal, and I can't even get the deal as it should be given. fuck you society!

/end rant...for now

don't the blu ray just have the BD banner at the top?? I didn't double check the case sizes, plus they had them in video game snap-cases (going out to car now)

whew, got lucky, definitely BD case, also noticed that the case itself is actually blue, like most BD cases, so look at that too..
/end rant...for now
Just Glitter?!?!?!?! You should at least throw some shampoo or body wash down first and then throw the glitter on top so that way it will take more than a broom and 10 mins to clean up. ;)

Good luck though, I do hope it works out. If I just had a WM around me, I'd probably commit suicide.

No no no, not shampoo...what you need is detergent, or dawn soap. Trust me, I work at a grocery store where it's 90% elderly, and thats the worst clean up you can get. Need to do all this special shit to make sure it gets picked up, like an absorbent, otherwise you can slip on it, and sue the store ;-). not that I'm giving you this idea to use it in such a manner ;-)

I had to go to 2 Targets this morning, first one didn't get the Blu-ray cased TS2 and the employees were aware of the general situation that they didn't get something but had NO CLUE what people were complaining about. I got there around 9 and they had a rain check tag out, but I asked to confirm and the guy had no clue and handed me a DVD cased version. I asked if they had any more in the back and he said no. (at 9am they had ONE DVD TS2 left, period. I think they just got a limited shipment, you can't tell me these movies are THIS big of sellers) The media manager-type came over and said that people had been asking "I guess one has the bluray in the case first? I don't know..". They looked at me like an alien when I tried to show them one had a blue case and one had a black case.

2nd Target had both versions in fairly decent amounts of stock. Managed to get the $16.99 Toys R Us price PMd and then the $10 off, and they took both $10 coupons (didn't even try the $5s) so the pre-tax price was like $6.20... (I also had a pack of clearanced batteries so I got out of the store with 2 blurays and 16 AAAs for $11.78 ;) ) You could tell she wasn't quite sure how to handle the PM but she saw $16.99 as the price so she went for it, even when the register kept trying to kick TS2 down to $12.99 (as part of the $10 deal, so she pushed the initial $22.99 price down.. I figured she'd just say that $12.99 was cheaper which I was fine with but she didn't). Customer service person was amazed and asked where I got the $10 coupons so I told her about Disney Movie Rewards.

THIS is why Amazon has lost my pre-order business... remember all the people claiming there wouldn't be a better deal than Amazon's buy 2 for $40? I have $33.80 more in my wallet thanks to not buying that deal. ;)

Good to hear Target PM's Fry's, except I left the actual newspaper ad at home...we'll see if they accept a printout of the ad. For the couple extra bucks I won't stress.

I pre-ordered at Amazon. I got my $10 coupons on Friday and before I could cancel my order, they shipped. So now I have to deal with returning them.

~~sidenote to javeryh - I spent the entire afternoon yesterday reading your blogs and you've inspired me to build a cabinet like "Bella's" for my son. One thing I noticed is you didn't come out and say the overall total to construct. If you don't mind me asking, how much dough did Bella's set you back?

Yeah, Amazon was so stubborn when they didn't even have the best price-- much less best 'deal'-- with Monsters Inc/Up that I swore I'd never pre-order with them again... I ended up just keeping those movies figuring it was a "fool me once" sort of situation and didn't want to bother with a return at that point.

Even without getting "questionable" PMs, pretty much any B&M is significantly cheaper on these Disney movies week of release with the coupons and various promo offers.

I just got back from Toys R Us and successfully got both Toy Story 1 & 2 for $16.13 after the $10 off coupons. They had a bunch of Toy Story 1 (50+), but I only saw maybe five Toy Story 2. Also, I didn't see any in the blu ray-sized cases, so I just got the DVD-sized ones. I'm vaguely annoyed that they aren't the same size as the rest of my blu rays and therefore make my shelf aesthetically displeasing, but that was bound to happen sometime anyway.

Also, I can reconfirm that if you put both the Toy Story 1 and the Toy Story 2 code into the same Disney Movie Rewards account, it will give you two codes to see Toy Story 3.

you could try emailing amazon customer service and explaining about the coupons and asking for a refund for the amount of the coupons. just make sure you tell them that target and other competitors are accepting them and that you prefer shopping at amazon. i've done this before and have gotten money refunded. if they say no, email again. another rep. may say yes. it's worth a shot.

I was able to get the blu-ray case of both at my Target this morning and I can confirm that you are able to stack the $10 "upgrade" coupon with the $5 off coupon for each disc. Combine that with the instant $10 savings promo and I just paid a total of $5.98 for both movies. Now that's cheapass.

The cashier was impressed.

:applause:

Best Deal ever.

I bet all those sh*theads who complain about cheap as gamers wanting to save an extra $10 will be running off trying to do the same. Shove it up your arses.

I mean $15 is a good deal for two blu-rays, but $5 is an even better deal. If you don't have the original copies to get the $10 off coupons you are SOL. So don't b*tch about those pushing the envelop. We aren't desperate, just fighting corporate exploiting their mistakes.

Congratulations on finding a stupid cashier. What I would like to know is if it actually rang up fine that way or if they had to override for the 2nd set of coupons. If it rang up that way, then I guess it was your lucky day. I'm not going to blame a consumer for something not being set up properly. But if you took advantage of an employee's naivety/stupidity/etc. that's kinda dirty.

Know what would be an even better "deal"? Walking out without paying! Try it! It works!

Did it scan or did you have to do an adjustment with a stupid cashier? If it scanned I see less of a problem with it. If you had to trick some poor bastard into it then I'll pass.

Do you realize that the store and studio does not lose any money from using coupons? Theres nothing wrong with coupon stacking as long it not the same coupon.

Your logic vale m*dre.

How would having to pay $100 bond, whatever it is, be a better deal.

I am going to one up you Emiroo. I myself don't have T2. So where you most likely paid for both movies, I'm waiting on my cousins to get home so I can get their T2 UPC. I know, I'm mean. They don't have Bluray so why not.

Don't fret, they're getting the movie coupon

I want to personally thank those of you that posts these deals, and especially the links to the manufacturers coupons. I walked out with Toy Story 1 and Toy Story 2 Blu Ray combo packs and it cost me $16.95. I'm unemployed so every little bit helps even if I do have a little saved up. Thanks guys.

I picked up my copies of Toy Story and Toy Story 2 from TRU. Used the pre-orders from Princess and the Frog and walked out with both for less than $6.00.

Very happy about those and PoTF for less than $15 total.

I picked up my pre-order from TRU today and used the $10 coupons. $6.xx out the door for both of them. I was tempted to use a $5 coupon, but I'm more than pleased paying less than $7 for two great movies.

In the end I got PATF, TS1, TS2 all for under $10! This is one helluva deal considering I also get the Toy Story 3 tickets! :D
Do you realize that the store and studio does not lose any money from using coupons? Theres nothing wrong with coupon stacking as long it not the same coupon.
Not arguing about this anymore. You can read the coupon (at least I assume you can) as well as anybody else.

Uh..ok? You realize the UPC is the same for all copies right? You don't need a specialized UPC to get the upgrade coupon. But thank you for the up close look into your mental capacity.

In response to questions about my post on the last page:

All four coupons scanned in fine. No overrides were needed. I was shocked. Just make sure you have two coupons with the TS1 logo and two coupon with the TS2 logo on them. A co-worker of mine found that the TS1 logo coupons will not work for TS2. Kind of duh, but I'll put that out there for those who were wondering.

And honestly, even with no coupons I'd have no problem paying retail for these two. You know they're that awesome.

Why all the anger?
From those who use 4 coupons for 2 movies, and from those who think it is wrong, the real question is, who cares? Everyone does their own thing, and it is fine. Reasonable people will disagree, but the anger here is not getting anyone anywhere. I think we all need to just relax about this a little.

My anger was mostly fueled by my frustration that some people are getting an even better deal than they should, but I wasn't able to get any deal at all today. It just pisses me off and makes me want to punch kittens. Nothing more to it than that.

Thanks for the info Emiroo. This is very helpful. I'm just curious.. did you hand them all 4 coupons at the end of the transaction or did you hand them the corresponding coupons to each blu ray?

I would love the answer to this question, so I know what order to do things tonight. Every little bit helps!

Why all the anger? Well, this is America where people get worked up over little shit.

Seriously does your life suck so bad that not getting on this deal will cause you so much anguish and pain? Come on, just because you didn't get on this deal doesn't mean you have to be bitter and all hate. Seriously drink a Kool-Aid and chill the fuck out.

Says the person taking time out of his day to comment on "little shit". I see your point.

To me it doesn't even make sense to try to use 4 coupons for 2 movies. You've reached a new level of greed to try to get away with that.

On a different note, are there any other $10 off pixar movie coupons I can print off? I think getting another Toy Story and Wall-E for the same price would be sweet and then I could trade or sell the other TS.

I just got back from Fry's in San Diego which had each movie for $19.97 plus $10.00 off if you buy both. I tried to use my two $10.00 coupons and they wouldn't accept them...per the manager!

So, I went to Target and was able to use both $10.00 coupons...the cashier was unwilling to stack my $5.00 coupons...so I ended up paying about $8.00 per movie plus tax...still not bad.

I PMed the TRU deal of $16.99 each at Target and used the 2 $10 off coupons, but the cashier made a mistake so I paid $6.65 plus tax instead of ~$3.98 plus tax. This is still a super deal:)

Thanks, OP and fellow CAGs!

Got both TS movies for $3.98 + tax at Target by price matching TRU.

Here's how it went down.
16.99 TS 1 TRU price match
-10 TS 1 vendor Coupon
16.99 TS 2 price match
-10 TS 2 vendor coupon
-10 Target promo for both movies
=3.98+tax
