Ordered POTC 1 & 2 from Amazon.com for $23.95 shipped. Tonight, I'll pick up my in-store pickup order from BB.com and return it, as I'd rather save $8-something than pick up some RZ certs on this one.

Not much else from the Amazon.com sale interested me, so I might get off cheap on this B1G1 sale.

Just got back from CC, I managed to get the Knocked Up HD-DVD to go half, but when I tried a couple of other BRs it didn't work (28 Weeks Later and Ice Age 2). Ice Age 2 is strange because Cleaver was able to get that one. The BR were in no specific order, just how the receipt rang up. I am just going to return the 2 BR that didn't discount.
 
id tempted on the CC glitch - but i think im gonna make $10 my threshold for Blu-Ray/HD discs considering how many DVDs i have and the backlog of ones ive never got to watching. Fry's definitely qualified

The CC sale is buy one $24.99 or $29.99 Blu-Ray title from a select list of Disney and Sony titles, get another one on the list for free. But the glitch is allowing for any title $29.99 or less to count.

I just got back from my CC and got two non-sale titles for the sale (on the receipt the titles show up at $15 each)... although I'm thinking I really don't want RoboCop now. :cry: Don't know if I'd be able to return that and get a non-sale title for the $15 price or if I'd have to get one of the sale titles. Or since they're listed as $15 each, if I could just return it.
 
Does CC apply the discounts right before you're about to pay? When I put things into my cart and proceed for a few pages into the checkout, its still like $60 for 2 movies.

And none of the sale prices are listed on the site. All of the ones advertised for 29.99 are 39.99, etc.

you guys are so lucky. the cashiers in 2 of the CCs were a'holes and wouldn't do it. the other one i went to would do it but they ddn't hav FF:RotSS in stock!

Just got back from Best Buy with Memento and Big fish for 14.99 i think i might return momento since its on the B1G1 for 24.99 at circuit city thus making it 12.50 instead of 14.99.

note: did anyone else notice that Amazon also raised the prices on all the B1G1 BR's

I'm so happy - got FF:SS & Lord of War for just over $30. I've been looking for a deal on Lord of War for a LONG time now, and I loved the new FF movie, so this deal rocked. :)

EDIT: both movies were regular $29.99 if that matters, and they rang up 2-for-1 automatically. I just played dumb, took the movies up & let the girl ring them up.

The Great Raid and Apocalypto are both awesome. Great Raid is especially underrated, maybe because it's not headlined by a big name or because it's about something most people don't really know.

Gone in 60 Seconds is worth it ONLY IF you like braindead, looks good, bad script Simpson-Bruckheimer-Bay-Peter Berg-esque movies.

Well, I think I sold my standard def copy of Gone in 60 Seconds, thats why I was thinking about it. Plus, I have a hard on for car movies heh. I almost picked it up at BB, but didn't. If the "glitch" still works, I'll pick up Casino Royale, The Great Raid, and Apocalypto
 
Went to CC yesterday only knowing about the B1G1F on "the list", so I didn't pick up anything. Bought from BB. Had to make a trip back to CC today, since B1G1F on (almost) all titles is too good to miss.

Might even go back on the weekend to see if they get in anymore titles. :D

I saw those too, but just thought I had overlooked them the other night. I called in today & changed my order (since it's not shipping until Castlevania for the psp releases anyway). I removed Underworld, since I realized I have the Superbit of that so it won't be THAT big of an upgrade, and added Deja Vu & Apocalypto. Man, I'm gonna go broke buying movies this week. :p

Got 300 and 28 weeks later. Sold out of F4:ROTSS

They said I could always exchange it so Ill probably change 28 later on if they have F4
