Is it just me or do I have to re-pair my bluetooth headset every time I turn my ps3 off and on? It's a bit annoying and i've tried 2 different motorola Headsets with the same results (HS350 and HS850).

In addition It seems like headsets don't work on motorstorm period, eck.....
works fine in resistance though.

wow after a bit of fiddling around, I connected a bluetooth headset and a ps3 controller to the console. Then i turned off the bluetooth headset and it completely broke the bluetooth on the console. Controller wouldn't pair anymore and neither would the bluetooth headset. I tried to re-scan for devices and the ps3 just hangs. This could have something to do with the whole disconnection issue.... Man so shoddy

update: ok so I figured out how to get it to re-pair again, sort of a side mode, but that error with the headset making the controller not work unless I turn off and on the console again still happens

Depends on the version of BT the headset uses. Newest is best of course.

A few older headsets with the newer protocols in place however, don't need to be re-paired each time either.

So what headset should I buy? I have been waiting for a good deal but I want a headset that does not need to be re-pair (sync) every time!!!

Well Actually I was having these pairing issues with my HS850 which is an older unit. I just got an H350 that seems to pair correctly automatically each time if I turn it on by holding the button till the 2nd flash. The whole thing is pretty stupid. But yeah H350 seems like a solid one. It's pretty cheap as well

I basically got my H350 from complaining to the company I bought my new cell from for free. Nasty thing was that it ended up being a retun and had some hair on it -_-....... After a bit of cleaning I figured it'd be ok to use

But yeah the 2nd thing I talked about happens with the H350. It's really strange. Basically in summary if I turn off the headset while it's still connected to the console it kills all the bluetooth coming from the console completely. I have to reboot it. Not too big a deal since it's not something u'd normally do, but just curious if it has anything to do with the other issues.
