Just got this Barnes & Noble email stating that the website now sells games. You'll probably get pretty standard prices, but you never know. If you have a gift card or something (I do) this could be useful.

I wonder if their discount card will apply to games? I kind of doubt it but you never know.

"Save 10% on nearly every item in Barnes & Noble bookstores ..." I don't like that "nearly" in there, hmmm...

Looks like the B&N membership (10% off) has no affect, nor can coupon codes be entered. It looks like giftcards can be entered. If you mixe bn.com and gamestop goods, you can enter codes, but it looks like they keep the two separate.
So at first glance it looks like the only benefit is being able to use bn gift cards now.

That's right...I remember the employees at the store I go to said that to me...

would explain why the B&M is separate from the on-line store.

I've known that since Punqsux had that deal that one time where you had to go to GameStop through Barnes and Noble in order to get the deal to work. It was something like: used gba sp's for $40 or something, I forget.

I guess Barnes and Noble owns EB now too than.

The discount cards have always said that. The only exception I ever knew of was for gift cards, i.e. you couldnt buy a 50 dollar GC for 45 bucks. It would make sense for the discount card to work on games, as it also works on DVDs and music. We'll see, if BN starts selling games in store.
