Holy crap, the gun conversation is still going on?
Haha, no, Tiphireth just started it up again. :)
That's why you buy one now, so yours can get grandfathered in. :) Then it would quadruple in value. That's what I'd do with .50 cal sniper rifle if I had a spare $8000 lying around.
$6999 at a gun shop in Orem, UT. ;) Of course, the guy who owns it is deranged and tends to point his dis-assembled guns at you while he's cleaning them. Still, I've never seen so many guns in one spot. The guy seriously has several hundred on the walls and on display. No you've got me thinking about the magnificent Vepr he had on the wall with the $3000 infared scope...

Ah, gotta love the crazy gun shop owner.

And of course the $5 per .50 cal rifle bullet.
Hmm, anyone have a good new gun related title?
Hmmm...

The BullOTT?

Or The Hollow Pointe BullOTT?

The ShOTTgun?

Click, Click, BoOTTm?

Best I could come up with off the top of my head. :)

EDIT: Can't believe I forgot: This is my boOTTmstick! The T's don't work too well in that though. :)
What?! I missed the best conversation on the OTT evar?!?! Dammit.

I was about to buy a Yugoslavian SKS with the same acoutrements, but I decided I could get something better for the price. Like a SPAS 12, if not just for the intimidation/cool value. :D A SPAS 15 would be orgasmic.

I had been planning to save up for an M82, but those things are getting close to illegal quickly. :bomb:

I've had deer, caribou and elk a few times. It's damn good, but I still stand by my statement that no meat beats Ostritch meat. :D
I have been wanting to find an authentic M1, an Italian bolt action, and a Henry Repeater. Of course those arn't cheap and easy to come by.

Have you had emu before. It is pretty tasty. Its ike ostrich in some ways.

The military fraternity (Pershing Rifles) on campus recently got about 20 M1 Garands for Drill & Ceremony. Of course they're decommissioned rifles, unfortunately. Those fuckers are heavy though, and not easy to spin. They still also use Springfield 1903 - A3.
Nice. Is that a new slipknot album or what? I haven't been paying attention much lately.
Here's what my brother and I grabbed:

Darth Vader Unleashed Best Buy exclusive figure
Star Wars Episode 3 w/ Best Buy Litho
Best Buy exclusive Slipknot Outside the 9 1-year membership w/ bonus goodies
Slipknot Live 9.0 CD
The 69 Eyes - Devils CD
Office Space - Gift Set with Flair
WWE: Jake the Snake Roberts - Pick your Poison
Live huh ... I think I'll pass. I've got enough to maybe buy this week.
Yeah, the Slipknot is for my brother. I like them, but I'm really not that into them. What are you picking up, Subbie?

You spend a lot of time at Home Depot, don't you? Working on something?

I happen to be doing some remodeling here at the house. New tile for the floor and possibly some painting (but the painting will take place a lot later). Looks really great.

Not usually, but we have been doing a little work. Today I just need some washers.

Well I'm off, time to decide what to have for lunch. :whistle2:k

Ended up getting Ep.III and Office Space. Total cost: $8.58.

Actually I ended up not stopping for lunch, just grabbed a couple fun size milky ways though. We don't have any real food in the house right now.

Reward Zone certificate, $20.

What, you don't like Milky Ways? I'm going to go see if I can find anything else.

EDIT: Just ate 3 chocolate chip cookies and a slice of swiss. Currently drinking some apple raspberry juice.

Nice...

I love RZ certificates. They come in the mail when you don't expect it and make a nice surprise. I think I'll just ask for Best Buy gift cards for Christmas this year...

I don't have anything against Milky Ways. It's just that it sucks when candy becomes your lunch. Too much sugar, and it doesn't fill you or give you any nutritional value.

Yeah, I don't trust the e-mail ones. I mean, what happens if you accidentally delete the e-mail or they show up in your junk mail folder?

I can wait a little longer for my certificates.

If I could have any gun, it'd be a Thompson. Gangster-style. No, I haven't had emu, but I'd definitely try it.

I use the email ones all the time. Takes less time to show up that the mailed ones.

I've never had one get caught in my spam filter, and all I do is copy the link they send and paste it into IE. Works flawlessly. When they first started to do it (late 2004), it was a giant pain in the ass and didn't work right, though now, they have all the bugs worked out of it. Done it more then 12 times in the last year, and nary a problem, save the first one.

My Best Buy is picky about printed stuff, though. Also, I'm not really in a rush to get my certificates. I like getting good stuff in the mail, and my e-mail box is always cluttered with stuff.

Thanks for the info, Jack.

I'm in a dilemme. I want to bite at B&B V1 for 20 at Target (after $5 GC), but I'm already gonna buy the Live 8 DVD set. So... I dunno if I should bite at B&B or save for some DS games. Meh.

So how was everyon's day?
If I could have any gun, it'd be a Thompson. Gangster-style. No, I haven't had emu, but I'd definitely try it.
Yeah that would be pretty sweet. That reminds me that I would give a left nut to have a geniune Browning Automatic Rifle (B.A.R.) from WWII.

I have wrangled emu and it was no fun because being a giant fucking bird they don't like people fucking with them.

I got tape, I think, of him telling the story about how he had to buy a four pack of Speedos just to get a red one so if anyone needs black blue or white, PM me and I'll mail 'em off to ya.

I gotta go hit up TRU and get rid of that Xmen.

Oh man, a B.A.R. would kick so much ass. :O

I would bite on the B&B set. After all, it's only sale-priced for one week, and games generally hover around the same price for a while.

My day's been pretty good so far... :D

Looked like a fun party, Jimmie. Did you make all the food items?

Thanks for responding. You make a good point. I'd rather sacrifice a few weeks of gameplay time for saving money than the other way around.

I think I'll get both at Target at the 8th or around there. Can I use the Gift Card right after I get it? Like, buy B&B, then in a seperate purchase buy Live 8 and use the card?

Getting 40 episodes (even though they aren't really half hour eps, but whatever) and the Vids they provide for twenty dollars is a great deal for me. How long IS an episode, by the way?

Anyway, thanks for helping me, Jack. I appreciate it.

And glad to hear your day's going good. :D

You're welcome. :)

About the GC, that would probably work. If you can, try this:

Buy B&B at a seperate part of the store. For example, they have a register set up near CD/DVD/Games at my Target. Buy it there and get your card. Take Live 8 to one of the main front registers and use the card there.

Episodes... hmm... well, the press release refers to a sketch (around 10 minutes or so) as an episode.

Yeah, I seem to be doing a lot better lately. I'm a lot happier after thinking about things more clearly.

That sounds like a good plan. I have a counter at my Electronics area as well.

Hmm, 10 minutes sketches is about 6 2/3 hours of TV. Not bad. =D

That's great. From what you were saying (typing?) a few days ago, it seemed as though you were doing...not well. :)

Yeah, that's a good plan you have.

Well, I know I'm bound to crash & burn again in the future, but I figure I'll just try to cross that bridge when I get to it.

I have a lot that I should be thankful for, so I'm going to do just that.

fucking sweet...

I just found a stack of my worktapes from my film studio days. Maybe now I can get to work on remastering my short movies.

Special edition DVD or 2-disc set (depending on the extras). I can see it now:

Remastered (well, as much as I can) video in the original aspect ratio
Remastered original stereo soundtrack
Newly created Dolby Digital and DTS 5.1 soundtracks
Audio commentary
Deleted/alternate scenes
Blooper Reel

Bunch of good times...

I got a log of 8mm tapes of weird shit I've filmed... I've been putting off editing them for a while now.

Oh, I will.

You should see this music video I filmed... I only have it on DVD, though. The master cut is on one of the computers at (my shit-ass) campus.
