I tried making Maya and i dont seem to like what im seeing... my character seems weak compared to the other players I know who also use maya.

could you suggest a good build?

im used to salvador.. so anyway..

But what level are you? It makes a difference when trying out different builds. Also just change it around in game and see what you like. I do that constantly as I level.

I haven't had to much trouble when playing as maya. You have to be a bit more methodical, you can't just rush into a group of people

I just spec'd fully down the Cataclysm tree and partially down the Motion tree and I rape everything. I'm also using a class mod that gives me a bunch of extra points in various Cata skills. Also, get a Bee shield ASAP.
