Boscov's has over 250 video game titles at $4.99 starting on 8/15
Sounds russian to me. Its a communist trick, something bad will happen when everyone goes.
Ha! I agree. By the way what hell is Boscov's? I've never heard of that place in my life.
I saw this in Sunday's newspaper ads. Who knows what titles they may be, worth a look though. This department store is mainly in the NE.
Going to be used snes, genesis, and maybe nes games.

Some psone games.

Probably some xbox/ps2 games.

Boscov's has games? I've been there a few times, and I don't remember ever seeing any games there. Where are they located, usually?

Electronics department. The games section is really small. At the one I go to, they are still in a "World Of Nintendo" display case from the NES days.

Never heard of a Boscov before. Sounds like something out of Freedom Fighters. They do have a website though, so for us West Coasters, might not hurt to check it everynow and then for some more $4.99 goodness.

Boscov's is even slower than Wal-Mart when it comes to dropping game prices. These are probably the $49.99 copies of PS2 launch games and maybe even some Dreamcast titles.

The frontpage of the Boscov site says up to 78% off clearance or some shit like that but the fucking thing is that the discount will be applied when you add it to your cart. So if anyone with a superfast connection wants to sit around and start adding games to your cart to see if they're on sale, be my guest. You would certainly be first to get in on the deal :!:

I got the same exact response from the one in Northfield, NJ. What a rip. They did say that the circular said "date subject to change" so they might simply not have gotten the games in it. Check Monday or Tuesday maybe?
Are you from Johnstown?
my uncle lives there.....ive been in that boscov's before, and i go to school about an hour away and i know a few people that live there....johnstown...good old flood city...but, there is also a boscov's in my town....its about 5 minutes away....too bad i didnt find out about this sooner, or i would have went up and checked it out....and now i wont be in town again until thursday....oh well, guess im not getting any $4.99 games....and my boscov's has a pretty big selection of games, so i might have been able to get some good ones too

I have a Boscov's that's literally a two minute walk from my office. I walk by it all the time going to and from court. They have quite a few games. I'll check this out tomorrow on my way back from court.
Is that "Darkened Skye/Outlaw Golf" package exclusive to Boscov's because I haven't seen it new ANYWHERE else.
I have seen it at EB
Former Johnstown resident representin!

Now live in Altoona.

Wish I would have know about this, I was in Jtown this past weekend.
Trust me...you didn't miss anything. I was there on Monday and like the guy said on the phone, all they have are 2 things: XBox Exhibition Disk and one of the PS2. On the good side though, I managed to pick up Ikaruga, Marvel vs. Capcom 2(XBox), King of Fighters 00/01, Arc the Lad Collection, Front Mission 3, and Guilty Gear X2 at the TRU there.
So how can this be 250 titles if everyone is saying that there's a very limited selection?
i was thinkin the same thing, im guessin 250 titles on sale are the ones they dont have
