Bo'Sox or Yankees

CAGiversary!
You might not be a fan of either of these teams, but you definently have an opinion or are on one or the other's side. Are you for the "Evil Empire" or for one of the lovable losers/underdogs (the other one is the Chicago Cubs). Do you believe that the Sox are cursed to always lose or is just a string of bad luck? Maybe you're one of those that just prefers to be on the winning side?

I myself am sort of leaning towards the Red Sox. I mean come on, they have to win sometime and sometimes you just like going for the underdog.
I just hate the Yankees, so I voted Sox.
Me too, the Sox deserve to win eventually.

Why is it that the Sox deserve to win? Just because you continually lose year after year, doesn't make you deserving of a win. If they really wanted the world series that badly, they would do everything to win it, something the Red Sox aren't prepared to do. So I vote Yankees to go all the way.

What exactly is your definition of "they would do everything to win it"? By having the biggest payroll in MLB? The Sox have the number 2 payroll, so they don't deserve to win? Hell, the Mets have the number 4 payroll in the league, so they should come in 4th every season, yet they didn't even make the playoffs this year.

If nothing else I want the Red Sox to win so I can stop hearing my aunt blab on about "The Curse of the Bambino" and all that wonderful shit every time the Yankmees win. Watching the same team win year after year is boring to everyone except fans of that team. I hope Jeter gets traded to the ex-Expos (whatever they will be called) and takes them to a championship next season.

With so many people attributing the Yankees' success to them "buying" their championships, then why can't the Red Sox do the same. Personally its not my definition, but it seems to be everybody else's

OK then, why don't you tell us why the Yankees deserve to win?
Don't the Red Sox play just as hard in their games? Considering that the Red Sox won the last 2 games has got to mean something, even if they don't make it to the series. And why aren't the Red Sox prepared to do anything to win? Explain that one to the rest of us.

you know what i dont like either team being a indians fan. But the past few days of watching these games, the bosten fans are a bunch of whinners and crybabys. They are so goofy all of them. I know a red sox fan at school who know one likes and he said when they lost last year he called his uncle on the phone and they cryed for a half hour. What a bunch of pussys. Well whatever. Ill be flamed for saying this but its true. Also, if you notice there wasnt one person in that stadium other than the players that was of color. I bet you if a black person sat down in bosten stadium people would be wondering where is hot dog stand is. Not hating on all bostanians but must of them.

I live in MA, and I am a diehard sox fan...the sox will win tonight, but they will kick us in the nuts again, and loose game 7...

I'm not a big fan of either, but I definitely lean more towards the Sox then Yankees. I'm on the threshold of not minding the Yanks and hating them.

The yankees deserve to win because they are way more professional than the red sox. Yesterday was a prime example when jeter got the 3 run double. Pedro hit Arod because he was pissed off that he coudlnt pitch. And they always talk trash and most of the time cant back it up. thats why they dont deserve to win.

I think the trash talk on both sides is about equal...and if kevin brown was still somewhat good, then he would be talking a lot of shit...and I dont want to hear how his record was like 11 -6 or whatever it was, he was 5 - 0 vs tampa, and around .500 vs everyone else...that has got to hurt, up 3 - 0, and then blowing it. Including 2 nights with the lead going into the 8th, with according the yank fans, the best closer in the game, on the mound.

Yeah, cause slapping a ball like a girly man like A Rod did is professional!
A Rod pouting like a 12 year old after game seven is also professional. Please.
